The bag looks nice and I really like the extra buckle on the inside flaps. So many of those style bags don't have a buckle on the inside flaps. If the bag had some attachment points on the outside of the bag it looks like you could carry enough with you for a few days or at least a overnighter. That looks like a very well-made haversack! It almost looks too neat & tidy if that's possible. Such straight, 90 degree corners, well-sewed, and the 2" strap has got to be comfortable! Thanks for the review and demo, Andy!

Now living in Sweden I've been making connections between English and Swedish words and think I've found another connection. Haversack: In Swedish, Oats is Havre and Sack is Säck, therefore havresäck became haversack. Maybe bollocks but there are so many interjoined words in use today from the old languages.
