I grew up with her roleplay series and she'll forever have a place in my childhood. But instead of growing along with her fans and keep uploading casual content appealing to teenagers and adults, she directed her content towards younger viewers which is probably why her videos became 'cringy' to older viewers. She also has her children growing up so that's more load for her to take care of so Im not gonna hate on her for the way her channel is becoming. She can make seriously good content when she's not trying to appeal to kids, especially the human fall flat videos and the raft videos she did with her husband.

Used to watch Aphmau; Can say she DEFINETLY fell off. Honestly, it's sad. I only watched the old videos she made, and I'm honestly suprised her friends still even help her make the videos. I get she's adjusting to her audience, but damn...

It’s crazy that she was the one who made Minecraft roleplays in the community cool to begin with. And one of the more famous leading content creators of KZfaq when it came to Minecraft which was a hit at the time.

She went from making amazing roleplays with characters with actual depth to a mary sue with the flattest most 2D characters ever

i miss all of her old content, i understand she changed for her audience but her old content was actually entertaining

aphmau’s main audience is children so i understand why she switched from her original roleplay videos to what she does now, but tbf it’s her own choice and it’s understandable why she chose to change but of course tons of people are upset about her roleplay content ending

Aphmau went from your average Minecraft KZfaqr from the 2010s to literally becoming a generic shorts creator

I used to watch Aphmau. She’s made Minecraft roleplaying cool, but her content dropped off the deep end. Her old content was genuinely better. I get she did this that she was adjusting to her children audience, but I’m still surprised her friends still do this, even if some don’t.

Even as a 2012 fan of her and still going, I can never get over what happened to them. Aph, Aaron, Kawaii~Chan, Zane were great characters in MyStreet with multiple layers of personality. Ein was the most iconic MyStreet Villain for his sadistic, manipulative, and sociopathic personality. His rivalry with Aaron was awesome. Pierce and Noi, were some of My Inner Demons' strongest written characters. Kim is the only one who I feel got a positive change from everything but its only because she barely had a character to begin with outside of being the host to a far more interesting character in Emmalyn/Ghost. It honestly makes me fearful for when Season 7 of MyStreet begins production. They have announced there are plans to continue it and even the VAs have confirmed as such themselves but with the way things have been going, I worry if she'll fumble what will be the most important series of her channel and if she does, there won't be any recovering from it, she'll be done.

What's even worse is that Aphmau used to make good videos! I loved her Diaries series and her others! It's such a shame tbh

As an fan since she had 500k it’s been rough man. I watched her go from cool roleplay series to these and I heard it was because of the pandemic keeping their hands tied but now maybe they just do it because it’s easier. I got my hopes up a couple of times when they were introducing the old characters back but- um. Yeah. Also I get she’s the main character and all but it’s so centered around her it’s not even funny. (I know because my little brother likes watching her and I’m caught up in it) Sometimes the jokes are funny but I just wish that there were continuation stories again and idk, maybe explore the other characters? Doesn’t have to be anything crazy deep but ig I just miss it. I’m not gonna march around preaching it though, she can do whatever but kids aren’t too dumb to understand a good story.

I've been an Aphmau fan since she had 400k subs, I like how her old vids we're for all ages basically and how different they we're every time. But now it's more viewed for kids and like all the videos are the same.

I was gonna go yapping about the new content, but remembering that she has kids changes things alot. She's getting relatively easy and quick money while still being able to spend much more time with her aily than most others. It's a blessing and I hope she exploits it for all it is worth.

Me and one of my close friends used to be HUGE Aphmau fans, and for her birthday, my friend got a $50 aphmau hoodie. We're no longer aphmau fans nor friends. I still stay up at night wondering where that hoodie is now.. Goodwill? Her little sister?? Her backyard??? Stuffed somewhere in her closet????

So yea I used to watch Aphmau, and they used to acually be genuinely good. actually playing games like bedwars, and even into her earlier days horror games like slender. She would do it with her 5 other friends, one of which I believe left entirely before this trend of cringe began. but yea, it went from normal gameplay, to playing hide and seek on preset maps, to small forms of role-play, and then to the cringe you see today.

I don't really watch her channel anymore. Her voice just got higher and higher pitched each vid and it started to annoy me. Also the references to some of her old series just made me sad. So i tried finding other KZfaqrs and i kinda just started watch her friends KZfaq channels or twitch sometimes because they were just being themselves. Just using there normal voices, helping each other, hanging out in there free time and maybe stealing and accidentally exploding things and some other stuff. 2:10 i think she can do that because her natural voice sounds similar to the high pitched voice she does when she's in aph's vids. so i guess all she really got to do is just make it higher and there yah go you got ✨kawaii-chan✨ But I think moeka could probably just use her natural voice and people wouldnt really notice and if they do they probably wouldn't care much. Also am i the only one who used to simp over chris (ein) and mihai's (noi) natural voices? Oh also im pretty sure aphmau's personality is just being crazy. Either that or she's gotten so used to acting like that, that she acts that way even when she's not making vids🤔

I watched her first role play series when I was young and fell in love with the characters, the story, the romance, the creativity- every week I looked forward to her uploads. She can write seriously good content that tackled some quite mature topics while still appealing to her younger audience. Unfortunately, she ended up pandering too much to that audience and I stopped watching her. It's a shame since I would still watch her stuff if she kept doing as she had been.
