A boy introduced me to their songs. And in three days while we were getting closer and opened up to each other I started to have feelings for him. We were walking at night at the empty city center together with this song. When we left and went back home each one of us to his country we kept talking a lot but after three days he told me that bc of the distance…. He was so kind and broke my heart in the most beautiful way. I cried and cried so bad listening to this song during my first heartbreak. Every time the lyric “got the music in u baby tell me why” came up I cried even more cause he truly had the music in him. But it was all over before it even started. And after 2 months I was told it was all a lie, he didn’t even like me. That’s when the real heartbreak started cause what I had for him was the most powerful, real and honest thing I had. Yesterday I was at their concert, after so many months of suffocating and wanting to be around his arms when they said “and you just can’t say goodbye” I said “goodbye”.

I can't stop listening to this. My late girlfriend, with whom I was deeply in love, turned me on to this group. I recently lost my girlfriend. We were together for 6 full years. I wanted to write this because I felt it was necessary. I needed to get it off my chest. Everything was great in the first year. We had that spark when you meet someone new. Unfortunately, she had got out of a long term relationship from high school and had history with him. She cheated on me the first year. I forgave her because I really wanted to be with her, but to be honest. Ever since then, it went downhill. We had good times but mostly bad because it was in the back of my head for a long time until I got over it. It took me 2-3 years to get over that feeling of not being wanted or loved. I wanted to be perfect for her. Then 3 years into the relationship, we fought more and more and said things we didn’t mean and regret. She found someone else for like 1-2 months. So it sucked, that she basically cheated again because we weren’t done. When I found out she was with someone else. I saw her phone, pictures of her naked that were sent. Messages. It hurt like hell, and I didn’t know what I was doing wrong. Again, like an idiot. I forgave her and we started dating again. Then now that we made 6 years. She started feeling not happy anymore, all we did was fight. Quarantine didn’t make it any better. We rarely saw each other. I knew we were at the verge of a cliff. And it sucks. Because I caught her yet again 1 week ago. With her first ex from high school in the car. She looked dead at me. I knew in that moment. Everything was over and done with. She had moved on. The crazy thing about it, was I had just bought her a vase with roses that night and I was going to tell her that she was the one and that I was sorry for not trying anymore. That we could maybe start over. But after seeing something like that, it just kind of kills you. It breaks you in ways that I can’t describe. She didn’t even text me or call me after. She just left it like that. Everybody says I deserve better but it still hurts to lose someone you’ve been with for that long. I’m sorry for writing this. But cigarettes after sex has saved me. From pain and from loneliness because their music helps me calm down and makes me happy. Even though, she did indeed break my heart. I wish her nothing but the best and I hope she finds happiness. Now, I hope to just focus on myself and work hard to do what I want to do. I will keep you guys updated in 6 months-1 year to see how I am doing. Thank you for reading this.

This is how my teenage life began, the first time I truly felt loved and appreciated and like someone who truly knows that I worth a lot, so my first love my really first love, I fell in love with a person with such a perfect soul, we always had the same energy , we always chatted about how was our day was, honestly when I used to chat with him I forget about all of my problems, I just love his eyes his smile really, when I always feel down and not in the mood to chat he always was there with me , he’s literally my therapy, he always makes me smile and when I feel insecure about the way I look he always boosts my confidence, when vacation came, my mom knew about him and my parents are personally strict , but still I wanted to feel the love , I went behind their back and texted that boy. I remember first time hearing this , it was back in 10th grade where i met this one girl , she was older than me ,and i fell in love with her . We used to talk about music at school everyday before she graduated, i used to listen to this every damn morning. Brings back memories for real... I finished school and i still remember those times. Lost my cousin to brain tumour, lost my first love waited for her 10 years she was fighting to blood cancer. My life was full of loneliness and failures. Betrayed by friends , struggling rn, parents scold and abuses every day, I've childhood traumas never got loved sacrificed everything just to put food on the table for my parents and siblings. No body understands me. Worked in a sewage back in 2013 for few bucks dad told me to make my own money I was 8 year old back then. My life was full of suffering.
