Today on Roadworthy Revivals I fire up this 1953 Golden Jubilee NAA red Tiger Ford Tractor that was parked behind the barn over 20 years ago! Will it run? Will it Drive? Will the Hydraulics still work?? lets find out!

Brake Clean washes all the oil off the rings and cylinder walls. Use "Quick Start" with top end lubricant.

Currently trying to get the right vee packing seals to rebuild the rams...will probably do a video of it plowing snow or something once old man winter gets here...

53 jubilee was fords anniversary thats why its the golden jubilee..awesome tractor to own.

@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS 54 is a good tractor...but the jubilee is fords son's birthday tribute as well. I had one that some guy's father bought new and I got it not running for 500 bucks. Head work ,wiring and carb kit plus un sieze the clutch and plowd my driveway for a few years Shouldn't have sold it but it also needed a rear main seal and I just couldn't do it with the shop and knowledge at the time.

That’s a 1954 Ford NAA. It has a 134 CI motor that makes about 33 HP. I just got mine running after sitting 14 years. Mine is a 1953 Golden Jubilee NAA but yours is just an NAA.

@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS Mine has a cracked block so I can’t use it because the water leaks out as fast as you put it in. They are good tractors though.

@@ABANDONEDCARREVIVALS The block spider cracks and the whole side of the block broke off. The piece is about 5 by 6 inches that fell out of the block.

It's a 1954 NAA, not a Golden Jubilee. The Golden Jubilee was a one year only, 1953, to celebrate Ford's 50th anniversary. In 1954, Ford replaced the Golden Jubilee with the NAA, basically just changed the badge for the most part. The toggle switch on the right side is probably for the lights, which probably are blown or has lost ground. The key switch is the ignition switch to energize the coil, and the starter button is in front of the gear shift lever and if working properly will not allow the tractor to start unless it's in neutral. Over time, some owners by pass the starter button by adding another switch to start the tractor if the starter button went bad. Bad idea, as that removes the safety feature of the starter button.

You really need to do more work on that fuel system. You say you cleaned out the carburetor but you take it apart and blow it out? Make sure the fuel lines are clean, make sure the tank isn't blocked. Check the sight glass under the tank.

Yeah I ended up getting a new and finding later that there is a little screen that was plugged where the fuel line connects to the carb....

If your front badge has a circle of stars around the perimeter it is an NAA, but is not a Jubilee and so it is not a '53. I know that the NAA is the same as the jubilee but put it this way . . . Every Jubilee is an NAA But not every NAA is a Jubilee. The name Jubilee is specific to 1953 only. (50th anniversary of the Ford Motor Company.) I have a jubilee and 12 attachments. And it has custom 13.6" X 28" rear tires and custom widened hat Box rims.

I ended up putting a new carb on it.... then later realized the inlet screen on the original carb was clogged.

Do you guys restore any of the vehicles you purchase or do you leave then lying around your yard like the people you buy them from?

We haven't really done any fulll restos yet.. mostly just get them back on the road and give them a new shot at life...the Impala we sold to a guy in Utah and most of others are still around getting worked on when we can...
