@Adam Woodman I understand you want more stories in the alien invasion. It's definitely a cool story from what we herd so far. But with the character and his family dead. It would just feel forced in a part 2.

@@theonlineanimal6009 The main character isn't dead. The story is told from a first person point of view. It ends with the machine attacking the narrator, but never says he was hit. Since the narrator is alive to tell his story, seems like he survived somehow. Lets assume he is dead for a second, it would still be interesting to see from another point of view, a soldier for instance. I don't think that would feel forced at all.

@AJ McAteer lots of stories are told in 1st person even when the character dies. And given the context if the end. It's safe to conclude he is dead. And telling it from any other perspective just wouldn't make since. I understand you like the story and want more of it. But it's just not gonna happen. But if you like stories of characters dying and giving 2nd stories. How To Survive Hell was recently updated with another story

Exceptional narration!!! I am a complete fan... but please just tweek the music & other sounds down a bit, they make it difficult to hear your voice... For me, your voice is all that is needed, but the rest could work if it was brought down in the mix.

I caught 5 years in 2009 So I was nervous right because I wanted to make sure that I would get out before the world ended on December 23rd 2012. So that was like a big fear for me being locked up during the Apocalypse

I loved the story really did just giving my readers critique if the moon exploded and what not that wouldn’t have anything to do with the sun still shining. Like right now if the moon was explode, the sun would still shine. It would just be extremely darker when the sun would go down i.e. being no moon to help illuminate the darkness, so I’m just curious why isn’t the sun shining if the moon is just gone like I said love the story really did that was the only thing I felt it was a little confusing and unanswered. 😊

Something blocked the moon by covering the earth, therefor the sun is blocked out as well

I was into it until it turned out that the aliens were identical to those from War of the Worlds. The sound effects at one point were even from 2005 War of the Worlds. What a bummer. I'll never understand why someone copies an existing creation when it is so easy to just come up with one of your own. Even if it isn't great, at least it will be original.

Yikes...backfire!😬 I just thought that since you're attempting to school me, I'd help you fill the holes in your curriculum. By the way...I've read the book, listened to the broadcast, and watched 3 or 4 different versions of it on film(the 2005 version several times). Have you read the book, David? If so, how did you feel it compared to the movie(s)? And how did you feel any of them compared to this story? I don't know what reading the book proves...but you must have some reason for condescendingly asking me about it; and I'm curious to learn what it is.✌🤓
