Wasn't vocal about it before, but didn't buy Shadowmaker because the initial singles didn't really do it for me and felt getting a 'permanent' singer was a bad idea (I looked forward to see who'd be featuring). Much later, I actually listened to the full thing and there were quite a few good ones (and Slow Burn grew on me) with the best one, in my opinion, being Dead Man's Eyes. So yeah, I was wrong: Franky was a great pick up. Does this sound like Adam Grenier singing I Don't Care? No, but unless Apocalyptica has the liberty of bringing Grenier, Lauri, Ville, Sandra, Matthias, Corey, Gavin, Brent, Cristina, and countless others on tour with them, we're never going to get that. And I think Franky is versatile enough to do a good job of filling in for others (at least on the male end) and then also do the ones he did with them. Cell-0 was an instrumental album so I don't know what their plan is after that, but do hope that if they decide to do vocals again, that they bring back Franky.
