Now we read Deuteronomy and find Tobit is the explanation as to how to understand it. Tithe is tenth by definition. So, how do so many illiterate scholars claim it is 23% in the Old Testament? Well, if only they could read. Josephus and the Pharisees are the origin of that increase or tax on the people. It is satanic and never Bible. These two videos are very clear. Makes me want to have all the tithes back that I've given to the baptist 501c3 church that I was involved with for 60 years of my life, when I worked and received an income, and give it to TGC, who is actually TEACHING and RESTORING the true scriptures. I'm now retired and on a fixed income. The money I now receive is my money that the government withheld from me and are slowly doling it back to me. I don't even know where to start now. I began praying about this after the last video. I always took the pastor's lies about tithing very seriously. Hindsight...

We feel ya. As Timothy said, when he was an employee, he used to just have the tithe taken out of his check by his employer directly to the church for many years. You make a good point. Social Security is not actually income when it is money you likely already tithed on in the first place when it was taken, withheld and only a portion doled back to you. That is not increase in our opinion. To put it in Bible age terms, imagine you raised sheep. You set aside 2 sheep every year into a forced (note, we are not given an option) government coop for your latter years. Though sheep don't live forever, they do reproduce and your contribution should grow but does not necessarily as far as you are concerned or at least that is what your government will be sure is the case typically. The coop will give your sheep back from the coop over time once you turn 65 or so but not at the rate that you gave into the fund and in most cases, not with any return though you invested. In other words, it is not increase but decrease really for most as you invested and they gave you back less than you gave in. How did they ever get that thru congress is the real question? Some cases may be different especially depending on how long we even live beyond retirement age, but generally speaking, this is a good point in most cases for Social Security. That is not typically increase and you do not need to tithe on something that is not increase. The individual would have to figure that out in their situation and decide if they needed to give accordingly. Them giving part of your sheep back does not equal increase in most cases. Imagine if governments allowed us to invest that 8% for ourselves from the age we began working as it should be rather than their irresponsible demand in dictatorial fashion to a fund they raided and bankrupted long ago and borrow to even payout. There used to be pensions which could be good for such but they were replaced with 401Ks which for many could also be a loss, not a gain. In 2008 especially, we learned that is the money at most risk in the stock market and it is being manipulated and not protected. Once again, the individual would have to decide for their situation. It's quite disheartening to think about not only the money, but the time and energy wasted on the building and endless programs and salaries and utilities and upkeep. It's crazy! The more lies that Yahuha uncovers, the more distaste we have with the world and its systems. Sometimes once we know the truth it is hard to get over how long and wrong we were. But I'm thankful to be of the ones that he has opened the eyes of. Yahuha has blessed me with the opportunity to be self-employed since opening my eyes. Now, minus taxes, I have full control of where my money goes. Tithing truely biblically is what I'm working towards getting straight now.

2nd time I've listened to this, and although fully separated from the whole 'church/building' concept, I keep imagining that dedicating a building, for the community, for worship, would make it a lot easier and visible for the purpose of teaching and practicing the keeping of the Feasts and Sabbaths... Provided that the upkeep/maintenance of said building/property never becomes a burden to the community. Provided that elders step forward to teach Yahuah's ways, the community would have a tangible way to tithe for the first 2 years...

As my mind explores the law of tithing as taught by our Creator, I realize that if applied, it could eradicate famine, job shortages, and hunger. With this principle, governments would flourish, as what belongs to Caesar would remain Caesar's, and what is God's would remain God's.

Matthew 6:24,28 [24]No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. This scripture always touch me really deep because we see so much destruction because of greed. I grew up hearing that we had to pay 10 % of our salary each month, and if we didn't do it we were bad, and we were going to hell. So much harm,deception and confusion in this world because evil people took control of YAhuah's word. Religion serves mammon and we CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS. Churchs can not save u ! We r 2 walk daily with r Father and read his word ! We have all been lied 2 and lead astray by man made religions which r the devil foothold 2 divide and conquer that which it has done ! Come out of her my people ! We r not of this world ! You must not understand, it is one tenth of your increase, according to the measure you have been blessed. It is between you and Yah. Any church which forbids membership based on hardship is not Yahs.

Church is impertinent in terms of salvation. Matt. 7 is clear the only one standing before Yahusha on the Day of Judgment is you and you will be judged by your relationship with Him. No pastor, even spouse or parent will be there on your behalf. We either know Him or we do not. Tithing is not salvation and giving to the poor is always good. Yah Bless.
