Today we go over the differences in the Apollo RFZ X18, RFZ20 & RFZ20 Max. These are awesome 125cc Dirt Bikes from Apollo whether you're a newbie or just looking for a solid, inexpensive pit bike that you can rely on.

I'm 65 years old and ride minibikes for a long time. What type of good dirt bike would you recommend for me???? Something to last a long time. I have a 1970 mtd trailflite minibike fully restored and I really enjoy riding it all the time. Any feedback will be appreciated 👍💯

This video was really helpful! I have pretty much the same bike as the z20. It's by a company called gio I'm pretty sure the model is gio vm125. Almost exactly the same lol

I like the x.18 that's what I bought. I didn't like the other ones the other ones seem more thicker and bigger more like a dirt bike rather than a pit bike. The x.18 you can throw around a lot easier. But still have a good-sized bike. I got the 450 and 125 KTM for that

Does the Apollo x18 have the same frame that the Apollo RXF open and Freeride???

It does not, the RXF is definately much beefier and built to a higher spec

Would the Apollo X18 or Z20 be a good bike for my wife? She's 5'4". I can't seem to find a truly accurate seat height for the X18 online. One website says 34" another says 36" for the X18. For the Z20 I've seen a 33" seat height pretty consistently. Nice video, thanks.

The seat height is about 31-32" for both. I personally like the z20 better but it depends on the terrain you're going to be on. The Z20 is more capable so I would lean that direction if possible.

@@HawgPowersports Wow, ok. I was thinking a 32" seat height would be a little too small. I would rather have a 33"-34" seat height for her. So, is the seat height on a Z20 max closer to 34" or 36"?

@@Chill_Outdoors at 5’4” the Max will probably be on the edge of both feet being able to touch. It really depends if she has more length in her legs or torso to make up that 5’4”

I have a honda xr100. I want a 2nd bike with just a tad more but dont want to pay an arm and leg. Would the Z20 be able to beat or keep up with my Honda?

I have a rfz20 max and a 2015 rmz 450. Now the apollo has nothing on the rmz I still enjoy riding it and usually choose it. i'm 6'1 205 lbs and can catch air on jumps and get to about 45 mph wide open. It is a fun ripper and would recommend it t o anyone learning to ride or just wants to rip with out dying on a 450 which is like a job to ride! ****** Definitely change carb out on apollo. I went with the mikuni vm22 stock carb would not run no matter the settings or jetting.

No, it's the same bike, the only difference is the wheel size

Honestly, we've never had one of these come into the shop but looking through the pictures, it seems that these are rebranded Apollo's but i cant say anything for who makes the engine. Almost 100% sure that its the same frame and suspension.

so at 18 years of age i had never ridden a dirtbike with a clutch so i ended up getting a ttr 225 for my first bike and its a big bike compared to the little 80cc i had when i was younger but i would definitely recommend getting the the z20 or z20 max

I have one myself and it’s had minor issues but easy fix. I weigh around 115 and am in love with the bike, it’s my first bike had it for 6 months. I jump it race it trail ride it’s a good bike man no regrets.

We can’t recommended anything for a “kid” per say but you should always pick a bike that’s the proper size for you body and skill set

I'm sure someone on amazon sells them. They likely come unassembled, unprepped and without a warranty form a local dealer. As a dealer who sells a couple hundered of these a year, I would not buy on unless it was assembled properly by someone who has done it many times otherwie they are sure to fall apart.

They are almost the same in terms of height. Yiu may find that the z20 is 1/4" higher but basically the same.
