Im just glad that many people can now play the 3ds games on basically every console and pc that's currently on the market.

Now all we need is the Investigations duology, and finally the Layton crossover. And hopefully the latter sparks the entire Layton series on Switch before the new one comes out.

Not to say 5 and 6 ace attorney were only available in English and as a Frechie i cant thank them enough for giving us a true translation weve been missing for 10 years. People made roms with fan translation but it was abandoned so i cant be happier.

This (re)release means we get french localization for AA 5 and 6 ! French localization was really good throughout the 4 first games so I am really looking forward to this release.

Now we just need the Investigations duology.

There's still one more collection that they still need to bring back. The Miles Edgeworth games, we had one game that still was never localized in the US and I hope that they bring the Miles Edgeworth games over as well. And still waiting for Ace Attorney 7 that they were suppose to have been working on

As someone who got the original trilogy and the sequel trilogy on 3DS, I can agree with the microphone part but they also ported another 3DS collection, which was the great ace attorney, and that turned out all right so if we follow the formula they did first with the original trilogy, then the justice trilogy coming right after the great duality, then, as it stands these eight games are going to be fine, especially considering we don’t have to purchase DLC for them

Now we just need a "spin-off trilogy" with the 2 investigations games + professor layton

I am incredibly happy we can jump to wherever we want in the Apollo Justice Trilogy out of the box. There was something I wanted to record from a later episode in Spirit of Justice, and it just makes the process WAY easier, since I was worried I'd have to play through the entire game again first. (Of course, I will be playing them all again soon. I've been playing the games with my Grandma, and she absolutely loved The Great Ace Attorney.) I am beyond excited about the Animation Studio, though. Having such easy access to the sprites, animations, and backgrounds of the second trilogy of games is wonderful considering the fact this is easily the best way to get the animations for all the 3D characters in Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice now. I can't wait for it to be released!

Animation studio is a missed opportunity, if they allowed you to create scenes and share them with friends, or even maybe battle in court, it would've been pretty cool. Of course these all exist for free on the internet, but it would've been very neat.

This trilogy is how I'm going to be playing these games for the first time so hearing that the game is almost flawless really made my day

Dual Destinies is one of my favorite games ever, so I'm happy that more people will have a chance to check it out.

Definitely something I’m looking forward to buying since it’s been a while after buying the Phoenix Wright Trilogy on the PlayStation 4 and Apollo Justice Trilogy is another one to add to the collection.

My first game in the Ace Attorney series was Dual Destinies, I bought Spirit of Justice before the 3DS e-Shop shut down for a very discounted price & still haven't got around to opening the wrapped-up software. I might as well play it on the Switch instead.

can't wait. I am curious if they've updated the script for AJ to reflect things we find out in SoJ. Last time I played the AJ port on 3DS, there weren't many script changes....at least not as extensive the original trilogy did after they ported it to modern systems.

Here's hoping a Gyakuten Saiban 7 game sometime in the future, and also the Miles Edgeworth Investigations games.

One thing that I feel like this review didn't bring up is that the 3 games included in this collection have all already been released on mobile way before this collection was announced, so single-screen gameplay isn't new. This collection did give these game some new UI elements though, so that's something.

Only Miles Edgewoth duology is left to release as a bundle but would been more better if Capcom add them as a dlc for this game

In terms of the dlc, I'm glad they kept the special cases of DD and SoJ. That being said, It sucks that if you haven't purchased it on the 3ds before the shutdown, you won't be able to experience the Asinine Attorney cases.

I will also say, I hope one of the costumes is the concept art that shows Apollo was originally planned to be the son of the Chief from Rise from the Ashes from the original Trilogy. Apparently, it's why so many of his original animations and art direction follow The Chief to a T.

I am happy these aren't trapped on 3DS. Now they can be trapped on Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2). Just kidding, being on Xbox, Steam, and Playstation means at least they can be played by everyone else for a long time.

Finally, they've embraced "animation studio for fans" thing! You can expect high quality greenscreens and memes with such material.

Missed opportunity to call it the Dark Age Trilogy

I remember Dual Destinies was originally M rated with the collection being T. Does anyone know if there were any changes made to that game to lower the rating.

Hold it! Why are we using the number system to describe our feelings on the game? The feeling system always works exceedingly well at summing everything up in one go

Now I really hope that we get remasters of Miles Edgeworth Investigations 1 and 2 snice they are still stuck on DS and the 2nd game was a Japan only game. Also would love to see Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright to get a remaster as well, that would be awesome to see.

I do wish they at least announced this a bit earlier. I was halfway through Dual Destinies when they did, and didn't wanna re-buy the trilogy after getting it all for 90% off. Glad it's on modern consoles now tho, hope they do an Investigations collection some day

I’m surprised how many people haven’t payed the HD versions on mobile. This is what the mobile versions are and have been on their for years. Apollo Justice really just makes me want another 2D game again

Definitely getting this trilogy and so happy that these games are accessible to so many more people! I already own these games, so I will be waiting for them to be on sale, but it will be a lot easier watching my wife play these games for the first time on the TV rather than hunching over her shoulder playing the DS 😅

Is there any other visual novels like this one that has in game animations and those anime type scenes someone can recommend that also has a physical copy..

I just love how games made for gba keep re releasing on every console. And now, we got the DS one, plus the 3DS ones that are now gone from the eshop. We are still missing the Investigation games and the Professor Layton crossovee This is game preservation at its finest

I think remastered collections should prioritize those that have already played the games on the past. If gonna spend $50 on games I already have on the 2ds or whatever, it better be worth it. There's a bunch of other things I can spend $50 on.

Depending on the price, I will get this game. Let's say I'm waiting the 50% sale, just like I bought the first trilogy. No regret, the game was truly amazing. Although I don't like paying full price for a Visual Novel, no matter how good it is.

Took me forever to get round to the 3d games, and now that I've finally gotten round to nearly completing dual destinies, this trilogy comes out. Really tempted to buy it but I just cant properly justify it when I'd effectively be buying it just for spirit of justice 🥲
