She’s still as beautiful and cool as she was in the movie!!

Prince was very spiritual and religious, he sang about God a lot, and early on. On the B-side of purple rain is a song called "God " and he was familiar with the bible, so in the -King James version- it says "prior to crucifixion Jesus was clothed in purple". That's where he got the color purple, and he clothed himself with a purple trench coat. Remember prince asked if the word purple could be in the title of his movie. It just stuck and he would say things like "Everybody wants a piece of the purple pie" he was so right about that. Another fun fact, prince bankrolled the movie Spike Lee made called "Malcolm X." He was a roller and one of my favorite things said about him is "He got shit done ". Prince really should be in the Guinness world records book. He did so many things. Tragic he didn't have his affairs in order. A simple will or trust would have kept the bloodsuckers away. His estate is in probate for 5 years and his wealth is being depleted. His family should have 100% of his estate but, today law firms are reaping financial gains as this draws out.

I think he cared to have access to money to do what he needed to do, but didn't value money like that. And may be why he didn't have a Will.

They put out Welcome 2 America, a box set of Purple Rain with 15 additional songs, a box set of 1999 with 30 extra songs, a book set of Sign of the TIme with 65 unreleased songs, the originals, and the Piano and microphone album. As far as posthumous releases go, they actually have done a decent job.. But he left them with a lot of music. and Neither of these people knew any of these releases, other than Originals (which has Glamorous life in it, so of course she paid attention to that one.-

Purple Rain Deluxe, 1999 Deluxe, The Originals, Piano and A Microphone (1983) and recently Welcome 2 America were all released since 2016. W2A Debuted at #4 on Billboard 200 Albums Charts & No. 2 on R&B/HIP HOP Albums Charts. Do your research VLAD!

I think it was Tyka who said his favorite color was orange, not purple. The color purple is associated with a number of different things and royalty is one of them. I read back in the '80s that was one of the reasons why he liked Purple but I also remember reading something about the color Purple being the highest level of spirituality in a certain religion/belief system. I think it was something like the Rosicrucianism Order.....or not, I can't recall. I do remember looking up the symbol for the Rosicrucianisn's and I do see a version of the Prince symbol.
