@CoD_Casey_YT Lucifer wanted free will, whereas God designed humans to be basically perfect without Sin. We all love free will, but it's also the cause for a lot of issues around the world. If in doubt, just turn on the News and listen to how many people were murdered by each other just in the past month. :)

Part of the reason I like this show so much is because I hate the whole "devil made me do it" belief. Not because I'm a satanist, but because it people use it as an excuse to refuse the blame for their own actions. Especially Muslims, who often say things like "the devil in me got strong, so I didn't pray today" or "the devil in me wanted to lie". I'm Muslim and my relatives constantly say shit like that, as if they don't control their own actions or thoughts. This show emphasizes the whole "take responsibility for your actions, because no one influenced you" and I really appreciate the message.

Yeah I hate it too, I grew up in a muslim family, and at first I really thought that the Devil could do things like that, but I recently started reading the Quran, and tbh I feel like he is more of a tempter than anything else. What I mean is that he can’t force you to do things, he can JUST tempt you, so if you don’t do something bc “the Devil stopped you” from doing it, it means that you “accepted” the temptation and therefore it’s your fault.

I relate to your comment so much, I was raised as a Jew (tho Im not religious now) and so many times my teachers, my friends and my family would say stuff like "the devil wants you to do that" "its bc of the devil" (we dont exactly call it the devil but its the same thing) and I was always confused to why they teach us that we have a choice but then blame everything on "the devil" and the show portrayed that really well

This show is rlly good but if u a Christian u know it's the devil he wanted to be better than God he wanted everything to himself he wanted to kill everyone he was the true evil and yes the devil is responsible for most pepoles bad deeds but yes we do get to decide it we are good or bad just that the devil gets eximent when we do the bad things

Think of it like this, god doesn't really exist, but if it does it may rather not be a god but a superior species to human from another planet maybe! So what he really wants is unknown, but if we're born on this planet shouldn't we protect it or should we all just fight cold wars and find home in chaos everytime, probably that might be that "God's" agenda, and we're foolishly supporting him, just like every other election in the world!!😂😂😂

I couldn't agree more! I think one of the things that will happen is that Michael will rule Hell. Since he uses peoples fears against them (and has some punishement coming himself) I think it's the perfect end to his story.

@@greys5552 I do love that idea, I have also thought about that before. But honestly I hope both lucifer and Chloe return to hell, not to rule it but to help redeem all souls there. Lucifer felt he didn't deserve saving, I'm hoping at the end he will help all the souls in hell to be redeemed and forgiven just like he was.

I love this show. It shows the Devil in a light that everyone has neglected, just wanting to show Lucifer's truth, while everything else shows him as a monster that causes all our problems. Here, he see the truth: Lucifer is the way we is BECAUSE of God's actions. Lucifer most likely becomes enraged whenever he hears the phrase "God makes no mistakes."
