Apoorva Gokhale: Raag Puriya

5 жыл бұрынApoorva Gokhale was the headlining artiste on Day 1 of the FEA-curated CROSSROADS festival in Chennai. She began her recital with Raag Puriya.
Apoorva was accompanied by Bharat Kamat on tabla and Chaitanya Kunte on harmonium. Vocal support was provided by her student Amritha Shenoy-Kamath who also played the tanpura along with Kalyani Vishwanathan.

A very good presentation of Puriya. Your voice is quite suited to the kharaj of this raag. Wah!

Very similar to Gwalior gayaki . Vidushi Aparna Gokhale always best. Her Yaman rag must listen.

Not only your singing, but the singing of your mellifluous students also, and the way in which you expertly teach by example and demonstration.
