Everthing is not satan always. No matter how much you love your spouse, whether chrsitian or not after a while you loose interest. He also said she was not his spec looks wise and that can contribute to it at times. People loose infatuation after some years together and have to learn how to appreciate your spouse and not be infatuated by your obsession of their percieved perfection.

He’s actually right. That’s why you don’t enter marriage only because you like the person’s physical features. You enter marriage knowing that “feelings” and “emotions” don’t rule you. You enter marriage knowing that love is a choice not a feeling. You enter marriage knowing that marriage has a purpose. You enter marriage with Christ as your foundation because they who build their house on the rock are wise but they who build their house on sand like physical attributes only, or flimsy reasons why they want to get married etc, are foolish. Nevertheless, Satan too inflicts marriages by trying to take away your peace and Joy and laughter. Everything in this world is highly spiritual. When you notice your marriage is shaky and you know your marriage is built on Christ, go back to the rock on which your house is built on and lean on him not your own understanding .

No I don't think we loose interest, I think this is what happens, we get romantic inspirations from movies, or novels and it works because it helps the relationship. Makes everything beautiful and sparkling, but no novel or film will teach you how to evolve your romance life, for up to 40 years, so we exhaust every idea we have after first 5 years. I don't know if people know this, but this is actually one very over looked truth and problem.😢 The woman stops trying to entice her husband and the husband stops trying to be romantic towards her. Then everything becomes dull and fuzzy, boring, a relationship is like a garden you have to keep watering and catering to it else they'll be consequences
