Praise the Lord of Glory! Hallelujah...I have been impressed by the Holy Spirit to cover my head & have been doing so for throughout the winter. But has spring approaches, I (flesh) has wanted to abandon my covering. But there's a mighty power in being covered. This message has encouraged me greatly. As a single woman, the world will want to be like them! But God's word implores, the followers of bibical truth to in the world but not of it. So, I'm proceeding on! I even spoke with a female muslim co worker & about being covered, especially in the summer- she has encouraged me as a Christian woman to press on, honouring Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord of Hosts. I hope other daughters of Zion will listen to the Holy Spirit & search the scriptures for truth. God's laws & statues of LOVE. His ways are GREAT!

Righteous, modest women of all the Abrahamic religions enjoy covering their hair, I have noticed. We Nazerenes find jubilation in the inner power of humility. A tiny woman's head piece is called a fascinator. Even at the Ascot Horse Races where women are required to wear hats, fascinators are not permitted. Headwraps and Hats are a glory to African Women who love the Most High. I don't feel oppressed when I cover my hair, but empowered, Even though I am blessed with very beautiful thick long hair, I choose to cover it as a symbol of separation from the world unto JAH. Bless us all to be active in the ways of Holy Knowledge.

If he is saying that when go out that women head should be covered because we don't know when we might have to pray then men should never cover their head because he don't know when he might need to pray also. So if a man can take his hat off a woman can carry a scarf or hat and put it on when she needs to pray.

Thanks for this message cuz so many people have confused me over the yrs with cutting of hair and coverings church etiquette need to be demonstrated properly n all churches cuz alot of older people can't teach cuz they wasn't taught right thanks pastor blessed and highly favored

Isaiah 47 2 3.The nakedness of Babylon. Says .Uncover thy locks, make bare the legs, uncover the thighs, pass over the rivers. thy nakedness Shell be uncovered yay, they shall be uncovered,yeah,thy shame shall be seen. So according to Isaiah having your head uncovered with a scarf is nakedness to God that's the way I'm reading it. In Songs of Solomon 5- 7 the second search for the shepherd. says. the keepers of the walls took away my Veil from me . I'm thinking women wore Veil's all the time to be modest.

I love Bro Gino, and I agree with most everything the man preaches... I’m willing to submit to the Holy Ghost that dwells in me... I take correction, and The leading of the Spirit, aligning me with TRUTH... The Bible says a women’s UNCUT hair is her covering....I’ve read this over and over, still don’t see the biblical need for a hat.... But I will say that if my wife and I attended Bro Jennings church, she would wear a hat... God bless

Mr Nice guy If your wife would attend first church she doesn’t have to where a hat. She could even have her head wrapped or tied up or wear a hijab if so desire. As you could see not all the sisters are wearing hats.

The bible says "NATURE TEACHES THAT" NOT GOD.. A womens hair is not her covering.. 1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even 👉nature itself teach you👈, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. 11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, "we have no such custom, neither the churches of God".

And to me, it’s plain that the uncut hair provides the covering.. 1Cr 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. God bless

People need to learn how to read the English language as it was read in the days of King James I. The word "covering" is a present continuous word. Therefore, it is saying the job is still a work in progress and not yet finished. For example, the sentence "I am cleaning" does not mean the task has been completed. It is still an ongoing process. The KJV Bible clearly states, the job should be finished and having hair on the head definitely does not finish the job of having the head covered.

God doesn't say a woman's hair is her covering.. Nature says that, not God.. 1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even 👉NATURE👈 itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. Paul is talking to Gentiles, which are Europeans. Naturally the women have long hair, and it doesn't seem right for a man to have long hair.. That still exist today. However, as the church we don't have that custom or belief..👇👇👇👇👇👇 11:16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God. So women when praying or prophesying, you have to put a cover over your head such as a scarf, cap, etc.. Only while doing one or both of the 2..

I really enjoy the word keep pushing more new updates I listen to each one it gives me more time to keep the word in mind and to do what God wants for his saints to do and being prepared for his comming back I how ever would like to no why in the book of Relation 19 verse 1 why do that verse get over look? because I truly believe that the way God want his saints to up lift him in heaven with that word I no when the devil was in heaven he knew the right praise in heaven just changed it when he went against God in heaven to want to be more so I asking why is that? I heard someone say that the actual translation for the head of the woman is the man was actually met for the head of the wife. I don't know if that is erroneous or not.

Shorn to trim or cut..I am out of an Old Time holiness Church that taught us that to trim it.. Is the same in His eyes as cutting it all off.. Women in our movement were caught even trimming it with finger nail clippers.. It's just like the Old testament Nazarite vow.. She has power on her head because of the Angels.. The Angels watch a Holiness woman who doesn't cut or trim her hair and sees the submission and honor for her HEAD.. Lord Bless.. oh.. Also the Reason for the removal of hair and why God condemned it was the Pagans of that time would shave their heads (Women): and sacrifice unto Diana a Pagan god.. In essence.. It's the same hideous practice when a woman trims her hair

Yes it must be cover every time you pray even if you are not at home, even when you're driving it must be covered so that is why some women prefer to cover it all day because you never know when are you going to pray😇

When read about this and I started covering my head . I started having dream of a mean person threaten me with a gun not to cover my head.. Since then I do the opposite of what he told me in the dream.. I even sleep with my head covered.

It's not reasonably possible for a woman's hair to be covered all the time (e.g. - showering), but he's saying it should be covered all the time.

Also I think you can only uncover your hair in privacy with your husband since the Word says that the woman is the glory of the man and that your hair is nakedness. I think that's the only time a woman should uncover her hair in company with her husband only

I think when they quoted the scripture "her hair is her glory" it implies that the hair us not for God's glory. We use our hair unfortunately to glorify ourselves. So trimming shouldn't be a problem.

It has nothing to do with bossing women around, but with the willingness of men to protect and die for women just like the Bridegroom (Jesus) protects and died for his bride (the church). You can say "men" a thousand times but without the wisdom of the Eastern Orthodox Church, you're just politicizing a non-issue that the Holy Spirit revealed to the Apostles (and their successors) the Day of Pentecost. The Eastern Orthodox Churches have continued with this tradition since the OT.

Just here to straighten out your comment: Orthodox Jewish women cover all the time once they got married, many Muslim women cover, but not all of them, many Christian women cover, only in western cultures the majority doesn't and even that has been a relatively short time (1960s/1970s) and covering among Christian women in "the west" seems to have a revival.

Cover her head; when she pray or prophecy and if not she dis honor her God, Angel's and husband, but u are not always speaking to God and God is not always speaking to u. she should cover her head....because God is the head of all...but the head of woman is the man because God made it that way, to lead by Gods example, please think not you are head without Christ....🙏 I will try hard to cover my head when I pray...and that is often do Pastor Gino say we pray all the time which some woman do but not all...?,

This actually incorrect. With all do respect and in the love of Jesus Christ. Read 1st Corinthians 11:15. Her hair is given to her for a covering. If she has long hair she is covered.

I find it interesting that (even I until today) would pick apart the section of verses that comprise the entirety of the head covering issue. If each of us read and re-read the entire I Corinthians 11:2-16 there would no longer be a debate and each would do as they see fit. I really implore each of you to do so, especially verses 2 and 16. Paul was a Roman Jew and there were 'traditions' of the time and that's what he calls them in the beginning of this section. In the last verse he goes onto say that if ANYONE is in opposition to this 'tradition', then they nor THE CHURCHES OF GOD have such a tradition. Does anyone understand why he wrote verse 16? Because he didn't want this debate, that is still going on today! Verse 16 sums it up. End of story.

Verse 16 does not say that... why are you trying to say it does? Just in case you need to see verse 16 (KJV) here it is; "But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God." Paul is saying that if this becomes a contended subject, then the custom (tradition) is not that important to him (and the people he is addressing) as well as the entire church, if it cause people to argue. Why is that you and many others don't see what arguing does, especially about something like if your hair covers you or a hat. When a person seeking to know Jesus Christ comes to a thread like this and sees people who all profess to be Christians arguing over what most would see as infantile, it must surely drive them away. That is not pleasing to the Father no matter how you try to defend your position. I for one am done commenting on this thread or any other that has to do with subjects that really have nothing to do with our salvation. If people want to believe that their souls are in jeopardy because of a head covering then I feel sorry for them.

I can give color lipstick/ gloss still wear nude I can give up color nail polish but wear nude color I do my own pedicure I can give up make I’m natural beauty I just cut my hair short always had long hair I won’t cut it again I can wear dresses to church Wednesday and Sundays I don’t drink smoke what else am I missing
