God is not limited to appear to men by revealed experiences only . HE is God and can appear to men in any way He chooses.

It doesn’t matter the ‘element’ you use, it it’s in line with divine instruction-God will put oil on it. The Ark of the covenant was built by normal gold from the ground, but because it was built by divine instruction; God put anointing on it. God will Anoint anything that obeys instruction even if it doesn’t ‘speak’ the way you understand it🤷🏽‍♂️
