Sometimes I wish these old Saints, cloud of witnesses could live forever- they are so needed and greatly missed today

A prophet. A visionary. Apostle Richard D. Henton was truly a warrior for The Lord. My mom got saved at his church, Monument of Faith Evangelistic Church, and raised both me and brother under his ministry. God Bless her soul 😔... I truly miss the old school churches. There was something authentic about it. I pray salvation for all who read this comment. May Jesus Christ cover us all 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I've listened to him many times over the last twenty or so years. He had a way of explaining the Word with simplicity. A true man of God.

He was preparing them for his departure. He knew his time was nearing and I'm so glad he went out just as strong as he came in. Even stronger...I know some didn't catch that and some may have but he left a powerful legacy. I enjoy watching his services. Never got to meet him but just by watching I feel a part. My mom's an Apostle and she knew him very well. I'm also a UPRR conductor and i liked that he used the UPRR "Big Boy" steam train in his message. In fact, i do crew change outs right behind the church. I've been to his church quite a few times when he was on the mortal plane. He's most definitely earned his heavenly immortality!!

I miss this man of God and the late Pastor Angie Ray so much. There are times I felt lost, because our church leaders are compromising the word of God. I just know I wanted desperately to live for the Lord, but I lost my way. The leaders have watered the down the gospel. I truly admired and the respected Pastor Angie Ray and Apostle R.D. Henton while they were here in the earth. It saddens me to know that there will never be another to replace them. I remember praying to God, asking him to preserve Apostle Henton, along with so many other old saints that were left here in the earth with us. I knew so desperately, that this world needed Apostle Henton here with us, a little while longer. At that time, Bishop G.E. Patterson had passed away. Pastor Angie Ray had passed, also. I miss these generals. I truly thank God, for their life here in the earth with us. I want nothing more than to be saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. My desire is to win souls for God. I felt lost for awhile, but God is blessing me to find my way. Oh, God! Save me and baptize me all over again with the Holy Ghost and Fire. I want to live for the Lord. In Jesus name. Amen.

Miss this man of God so much. He use to come to Temple of Deliverance in Memphis Tenn. Bishop GE Patterson was my Pastor for 21 years. Pastor Hinton and Bishop Patterson were good friends. I miss them both. I miss Pastor Stephen Darby as well. One day we will meet again. Pastor Hinton preached in the Rapture in Memphis Tenn. Years ago it was an anointed word.
