On Sunday, 7th April 2024, at a ceremony held in Dubai , Rt. Rev. Dr John Besterwitch was ordained as the Bishop of the Apostolic Diocese of Dubai (ADD), by Rev. Bishop Prince Maran of the Indian National Apostolic Diocese (INA) and by Rev. Bishop Kirby De Lanerolle, who is the overseer of the Apostolic Diocese of Ceylon (ADC) along with the blessings of Rev. Bishop Paul T Maran of the INA.
