I’m absolutely shocked this monster has not been caught already.

I don’t understand why they think the murderer is in his 20s and 30s, the photo plus the audio of him speaking seem obvious to me that he’s in his 50s or 60s

If anyone is ever in a scary situation, please know that complying with orders will most likely lead to your death. You will fare better by screaming "run" and running in two separate directions. Perpetrator can't catch you both and might just leave knowing one of you will alert someone and they will get caught. Parents need to make sure their kids have a plan if they are out and approached or followed by a stranger. Hope this helps someone.

He’s somebody’s dad. That’s not a younger guy at all. He’s minimum 35 but my feeling is older. That’s a Dad-bod,a dad hat,a dad jacket and even a dad walk. 🤷🏻‍♀️

That sketch should be looked past and look more at the close up of the real video. His face ain't perfectly clear, but can see enough to know if it looked like the sketch & it looks nothing like the sketch.

It's a strange paradox. I've seen crimes solved with the most obscure, piece of evidence. There is video, audio, crime scene evidence, & we are at what..4 plus years. What the hell is going on around here?

I’m not in law enforcement but IMO this man would most likely have committed crimes in his past. Most people don’t just murder 2 innocent girls & have no criminal past history. Someone somewhere has either known him from jail OR knows him & is aware of his arrests.

It’s just creepy in itself , knowing these girls pictured having a day hanging out, something simple, as most teens would do, and met with a man they felt endangered with and even recorded him walking and his audio, just out yourself in their shoes and imagine the fear knowing your life is highly at risk with no one else to witness your cry for help. The fact that so many people are in the comments saying that they should have ran is absurd These were children, 13 and 14 years old Their thought process wasn't that of an adults. They were in a secluded area On an Old Bridge With missing boards and man that was working his way to them. They had not a clue what he was going to do but he did. We need to focus more on all the information we are getting and hope that someone comes forward with information on the one person responsible for the crimes. I hope Abby and Libby rest easy And I hope wholeheartedly that their parents Will someday Get closure and justice.

Already its changed my perspective on this. In the actual footage taken by Libby, the suspect appears to be much further away when he's being recorded. The new app shows the actual distance He was from then when Libby filmed him was much closer than He appears in the original. He definitely has something concealed under his jacket on his right stomach area, left side as we look. It's showing through the jacket so whatever that is big and heavy enough to cause it to protrude through and show as indentations on the outset side of it. Just below that on the same side is something in his waist area that looks to me to be similar colour to, and the right positioning for, a tool belt possibly?

I've followed this case for a while and am generally emotionally resilient to the details, but this made me cry. "Seeing" the girls face down their killer, and brave Libby standing protectively in front of her friend, just made it all too real.

I'm so glad they caught the guy, he actually looks like the first photo. He literally lived a mile and a half away from the bridge and like a half a mile away from one of the girl's house. Richard Allen remember the name

His awkward gait is caused by him/anyone trying to manipulate and walk on the deteriorating bridge. He’s looking down to keep himself on the wrecked bridge path which has many missing tracks. It’s a long fall down. LEO’s have more info and the girl’s video - but remain holding it tight to their vests. I understand and respect their reasons for that - but at this point, its been years now and would think they could release more in case it can help further this case. I hope this monster is found and brought to full justice and punished to the fullest extent of the law! GOD BLESS the victims, families and law enforcement agencies, volunteers, etc.

Now that I see the bridge more closely, his weird gait could have just been him trying not to step in the wrong place since that bridge looked pretty worn and the slats are weirdly spaced. Hence why he is looking down at his feet as well.. I'm just glad they have a suspected killer in custody.

Also, GRAY HUGHES INVESTIGATES (here on KZfaq) created the video of his ‘continual’ walk/gait and painstakingly aligned the BG’s actual position on the bridge, very precisely. Gray Hughes is due much owed respect for his continued hard work and efforts in this devastating case.

Had anyone ever considered that he was wearing a disguise? Faking his walk/limp? It's totally possible because this monster seemed like he knew they were gonna be there. I can't believe this case hasn't been solved. My heart breaks for these girls & the family & friends left to try to make sense of it all.

I've been following this along with many others. I know people are still actively looking and searching for answers. Many prayers have been said for Abby and Libby and their family. This is so maddening. I feel like I want to go there and find him myself. It's a small town and he probably left town when the video came out so how hard is it to figure out who left town in a small place like that? He had to be local. Maybe law enforcement?

in the 3d vid it looks like Libby was trying to protect her friend by putting her arm in front of her which makes this even sadder,this shows how much they loved each other,i mean one of them could've left each other to got get help but they would rather stay and help fight this person, rip

It's sad how many cases there are where people are aware enough to take a photo or video or confront the killer but think they're just being paranoid, the person is seemingly harmless in their eyes -- for a split second. And then that happens. Seeing how close they actually were to this guy in the augmented reality video is so creepy; they could have turned and outrun him and gotten away, and grown old sitting around telling that creepy story of how they could have been victims if they hadn't hightailed it out of there. Very sad. A cautionary tale. I hope they get the guy.

They have his voice, his walk, his DNA, how has he not been caught? Liberty and Abigail literally solved their own murder but the police still haven't??

This did give me a better understanding of how the girls were vulnerable on the precarious bridge as BG approached! Kelsey has grown into a strong beautiful young lady. I know her sister is so proud of het accomplishments.

Phone companies need to start implementing a feature on phones for emergency of maybe your last moments. Maybe it makes the phone record at its maxes resolution and record audio and make it 200% louder. And then it sends the video to all the connected social media and fbi and cops the second it happens. I think a feature like this could help even more with cases like these or save lives

That walk and posture is rather unique. I hope this guy is found. I know it's probably been suggested but has anyone ever thought to put up a trial cam in the area? It's possible this guy frequents the area often and many times killers return to the scene of their crimes.

It is so tragic that this brave girl recorded this before her demise and yet Law Enforcement is still unable to find their killer. I have lost all trust in the capability of Law Enforcement when it comes to solving crimes and also with the justice system when it comes to keeping dangerous predators in prison for life.

You know the craziest part...just them being on a rickety raggedy bridge, that high up...already had their life at risk. That bridge needs to be closed. One missed step and they would have been goners...same for anybody who walks on that bridge.

Still wonder what’s happening with James Chadwell. He is an exact copy of the sketch and just got arrested for assault on a 9 year old.

The more I see this guy, the less I can get my head round him being under 45... just his walk to me is that of a much older guy than the updated picture suggests. I've been married 30 yrs, & comparing how much my hubs walk has changed over the years, his general stance, gait, even the hand in jacket pocket. BG is similar in all those ways. The clothes could be layered to make him look different, the hat could be a disguise, but there's no mistaking how we change physically between 20yrs old and 50yrs old. I'm no expert detective at all, but for the life of me I just dont see a young man, I see a man from mine and my hubs own age group, a man somewhere between 45-55.

Everyone seems to believe he had a weapon to force the girls "Down the Hill" and he certainly has something under his jacket. However, I don't think he brandished that weapon till the actual scene of the murder. So, how does He get two girls to comply willingly by going down hill? This is just a theory. The two audio releases are "Guys" (Said much louder compared to "Down the hill" and its clear these two audio pieces were spliced together. So, let's say Abby and Lib cross the bridge and in following them he announces "Guys..." then follows with showing a badge (Genuine or fake) continuing "Guys, Your not supposed to be on this bridge. Its unsafe and off limits.." Libby or Abby then apologise and say they will go bk over the bridge and leave. Bridge guy then tells them, "You can't go that way, the bridge is unstable and dangerous." Ab or Lib then ask how how they can leave if they can't cross the bridge? BG replied, "You'll have to go this way, down the hill." The recording is around 90 seconds to two minutes long according to the sheriff who said of Libbys recording... "It is much longer than has been released." Asked by a reporter why it has not been released he said: "You know, people seem to think that these is some ground breaking thing contained within it, something that is hugely significant and break this case. Yes, I have listened to the entire recording and the truth is, there really isn't anything significant on it. " That to me suggests BG wasn't pointing a gun at them and barking threats at the girls to go down hill, but he tells them, as the recoding seems to indicate, calmly and quietly. He isn't meeting with any resistance at this point, if he was he'd likely sound more agitated and urgency in how he said down hill. Maybe in a demanding tone rather than requesting one. Anyhow, that's how I think he was able to control both and get them to go down hill. It is, like all others, a simple theory.

This is the most ridiculous as there's a REAL VIDEO of the murderer walking towards them and talking. THERE HAS to be some people that instantly would know who this is. I think they already have him in jail waiting other charges

That child knew something was wrong and they were being followed. I wish they would have ran but they thought he was just a creep...They may have even known him in passing in the community. I'm sure they would never ever thought it was a murderer after them. I find it appalling that even with this amazing almost miraculous evidence the murderer roamed freely . it's bizarre.

I understand that a parent can not legally or realistically give a child a gun but you can give them high strength, high grade pepper spray to defend themselves with. Could have been a whole different outcome if they had some, especially a pepper/tear gas mix.

The problem is that the police keep sitting on valuable information instead of releasing bits and pieces of what they can share. Obviously they can’t release every single detail of this case to the public but to sit on something like the suspect’s car description for over a year before finally releasing it is what’s prolonging justice for these girls and their family.

This case will never be solved. The police have never told the public any details about the murders, how the bodies looked when they were found, how he killed them, was there CSA, how did he subdue both of them at once. He's old, 45-60 ish. He knows that bridge well. I'm not sure he says "down the hill" at all.

That dude wore that same hat and jacket everyday for a long time before he did what he did. So who in that town who wore the same jean jacket and tan hat everyday suddenly got a new jacket and hat or stopped wearing one entirely.

My sister was in the same class as them, we have lived in Delphi almost all my life, Libby made a painted wood plank that says "Im a math teacher, of course I have Problems!" I used to see that every day and it was crazy. I remember when rhis happened, Richard Allen was the first guy my dad talked to when we moved to town cause he was buying booze from CVS 😮.

I think the craziest and sad thing about this case is how this seemed like the perfect place to do some sick shit like this. A secluded wooded place where even if they probably screamed no one would hear. My heart goes out to their families, they need peace.

My former stepfather, Joe Gurchiek, is a suspect in this case right now, and let me tell you. That looks AND sounds exactly like him, not to mention the fact that he's a very well-known abuser in Brazil, IN. He's been beating my mom and little brother for years, gets arrested, but never gets what's coming to him. They've been to that exact bridge before. He owns those clothes, so my mom (AND little brother) recognize them along with his face/voice. He has the exact same hatchet pouch. My mom's friend says they got him but I'm waiting to hear for sure. I'm so glad this piece of human garbage is finally going down

Cases like this go unsolved because the PD doesn’t want to solve it. Bet this bad guy has family in positions of local government or LEO. This monster lives in the area has to the bridge isn’t a tourist destination

IMO, the key to finding this guy is the actual trail its self. The guy 100 percent has grownup in the area they were killed. My guess is he either fishes that spot often and knows nobody goes there or when he was younger its where the teenagers used to go to smoke pot and drink. I would be looking for petty crime arrest of teens and intoxicated people leaving the trails, then later moved to a nearby town or city. Cant heard to check in with those fitting that profile. And I believe the guy knew they were going to be there from their Instagram posts.

Brave brave girls with presence of mind to film and record. This man needs to be found so Libby and Abby and their families can have justice.

Also, I wonder if he revisits the crime scene. Wonder if they have camera or trail cams around there. Like our metro park and trails have cameras at all entrances and exits one way in one way out . I’d hook up trail cams investigate nearby cameras at gas stations or restaurants.
