The irony in this is they're pronounceing it correctly. Its not an English word. Its native derived. So it is pronounced appa-lay-cian. As hell bent as people are against it, its true.

Appalachia is seen as a fourth world and by that I mean things that wouldn't slide in a 3rd world country is completely fine and the constant hate from people who have never live for visited here doesn't help but Appalachians really do not care about what the rest of the world thinks I hear most of the old folk saying "They can stereotype us but fail to see that there plays isn't clean as they make out" meaning everyone has stereotypes so people should think before they hop on the hate people because of where they live bandwagon

We have been through multiple energy sources. Cowflops, wood, coal, oil, nuclear and now solar. Coal is in the past. Get used to it.

You can't educate people that choose to want to be uneducated like their inbred families are. The smart ones got the hell out of there before coal industries came in and reminded what ass backwards left behind forgotten on purpose some of them were and are today. That girl I don't that one blonde was from Kentucky prop actoress I believe she looked too normal to be from coal country. The accent shd was dogging sounded like she was coached by an accent language coach for acting purposes. You could tell she was very camera trained. She was too forth coming and her teeth had that perfect Hollywood veneer clean shean to them also perfectly straight. Almost too straight to be real.
