Awesome video! Man that is a cool show/parade. Also the engine 10:50, interesting mix of LED Strobes, Xenon strobes, halogen flasher and halogen rotator Also at 12:33. A government vehicle with aftermarket headlights ? Woah :P

Let me explain the fire coverage whilst this was going on; If somebody were to... Let’s say have a cardiac arrest, They would rather expedite a unit out of the parade or have a local fire department handle it. Make sense?

Everyone who says they are pointless and a waste of tax dollars need to realize that most of these fire departments are volunteer fire departments meaning there putting there ass on the line for you and not getting paid for it, and people act like its a crime and a horrible thing when the fire department wants to go out and have a night connecting with the community and staying involved, i wish more of my tax dollars went to shit like this rather then some big time government employee’s pocket

Some departments do use old apparatus as spare units for when they have a large call or when a rig breaks down or when they have mutual aide calls and need additional rigs in service. If the rigs are able to be used and the departments have the space for them then they are often kept and put on as Spares and only used if needed for equipment or mutual aide.

ObsessiveWolfLover this is actually just the trucks leaving the block party and parade. The actual parade is earlier in the evening then this goes on the rest of the night as everyone leaves.

I hope you guys think the fire department the police department and the the ambulance drivers for showing up all the different types of rescue vehicles because if I were you guys I would think them big time for showing off all of their rescue vehicles you never know they might have had a call but instead of taking the call they were showing up all their rescue vehicles so you better thank them big time
