for coffee or loose tea drinkers what kind of a basket comes with it? or is it only for tea bags and Instant drinks? if they made an app water tank with a hose that connected to the kettle . it would fill itself.

There's no basket. It's a kettle. It boils water. ;)

Very cool. At first I saw it as a gimmick before I watched the video. I have no use for it, but there is certainly a market for it. Good job on seeing that, inventor guy.

Great product! would it work with the smart hubs or google home or alexa ?

They promised IFTTT support "very soon" (and that was said on 23rd June), so that should enable it - though exactly how we wont know until released. It might be one way only, as in, ping IFTTT when kettle is boiled....

Christian, here's an update : After barely 9 months, the damn appkettle died. Could not be revived. Had to bin it. So, basically, this kettle was a piece of crap. Buyers beware.

God I really wanta win this kettle, i don't even want any of the other things you post just a morning ketle on a Goddamnd timer. What the fuck why is that so weird?

Well Christian, the app kettle equipment is smart, no doubt about that. However, the company is dumb. I am based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. They will simply not ship it to me.
