Thank you for this review! I purchased Jabra Evolve2 40 and Jabra Evolve2 65 Wireless a few years ago with your help! And now on to Evolve 2 buds! :) Jabra's dongle (adaptor) is really for the win. I hope you and your team will not get tired of doing wonderful reviews!! :)

Love the video. I've been looking at the Jabra Evolve 2 Buds in my search for the best device to fit my hybrid working situation. Currently have access to the Epos 30T speakerphone and Jabra Evolve 65 wireless. When working from home there are times that the speakerphone isn't appropriate even though the sound quality is great (mostly because some colleagues will cuss and I don't want that filling my room when I can't perfectly control if kids are nearby). So I find that the Evolve 65 becomes the go-to for my hybrid. Great in the office, reliable connection - but a bit annoying for long days on Teams calls and not what I'd use for listening to a podcast on public transport to/from the office --- so I find myself carrying extra buds just for commuting. I though the Jabra mics sounded better in a quiet environment but I agree with other comments that they didn't perform as well with the background noise. I'd have loved the video to have repeated those background noise tests to show a Teams meeting with the background noise suppression turned on. Did you get chance to try that as a 'real world' office test where device and Teams software are working together? In the main review video for the Evolve 2 Buds it wasn't clear how much office noise there actually was. Maybe something for your videos - keep the baby crying and the blender for the Teams call quality demo to show a consistent baseline. Anyway - love your videos and I'll be considering the Evolve 2 Buds as that crossover for hybrid working and commuting. Sadly I'm in the UK so I'm free-riding on your insight without the option to buy from you.

Hi Peter, thanks for your feedback to help us improve. From our testing, if you use Microsoft Teams with noise suppression it cancels out background noise just as good as anything else out there. So, in that case you would get best of both worlds. Although you can't buy from us we appreciate the engagement and constructive criticism, so that's still a win-win in our book :)

Your comparison reviews are incredibly helpful! Thanks so much for doing them. One suggestion… When doing the comparisons, I think it would be helpful to hear all the devices being compared one at a time in each environment versus each device separately once in each environment. For example, headset 1 with the dog headset 2 the dog. Then headset number one with the baby, followed by a Headset number two with the baby That would make it easier to see how each one does an in each environment. Right now we kind of have to try to remember or jump back in the video to see how each headset does in particular environment. Keep up the great work! I’m looking forward to your review of the new poly voyager free 60!

The mic on the jabra is better but the mic on the apple earbuds do a much better job of blocking out background noise. If I was using these for work I would go the jabra as the dongle will allow for a more reliable connection unless I was using them in a noisy office. If I was in a noisy office I wouldn’t use earbuds anyway, they’ll never be as good as a headset with a boom mic

looking forward to find out how these new caps sound when the very loud blender is running! i agree the jabra sound is more comfortable than apple in quiet environments, but in a loud environment both will always sound unacceptable, even if there seems to be a slight difference. after seeing endless of these videos here now, i can only make these simple conclusions that seem to be always valid no matter which make: 1) with background noise there is no alternative to putting the microphone as near as possible (so you need a boom microphone). 2) all bluetooth microphones sound horrible, in comparison to all analog gear i have ever witnessed in the last 30 years.

We hear you. It's unfortunately the way for almost any earbuds we've tested. Any that do have mic noise cancellation, fail in the mic sound quality soo it's a catch 22. As of today a headset with a noise canceling mic boom will always be the best way if it's important callers don't hear as much noise going on around you.

Wow, mic sound is really bad in Jabra Evolve 2 Buds, was hoping for better results. So far it seem like only Apple managed to achieve decent mic noise cancelling. Had Jabra Active and now on Bose QC Utra earbuds, all have terrible mics... Seems like the rod that Apple bugs have is the trick to make mic noise cancellation actually working.

That’s your opinion but won’t be everyone else’s. Our job is to let you hear for yourself and be the judge. We’ve found sound to be very subjective depending whose listening, which is why we don’t do personal ratings any longer. Also, if you watch any of our videos you’ll know as of now we don’t recommend any earbuds as the best solution for calls, no matter the brand (who knows what the future holds).
