Do NOT put your luggage airtag on the outside of the bag where everyone can see it and it's easily removed and tossed away. Hide it inside! I would think this would be obvious.

You’re so positive and upbeat in all your videos. What’s most important is you’re also super informative! I’ve been using Tile for years and saw these AirTags today in the Apple Store when I was picking up my watch. Apple was not great at explaining what they do but now that I see how great they are, I May transition over. I have an iPhone, AirPods Pro and now a watch and I like that it works with those products. I also use my Tiles for the car, bike, keys and more. I like the accessories because as much as I love Apple, their accessories can be too pricey. Awesome video! After viewing a bunch of your videos lately, I recently subscribed. Love how whimsical you can be! ❤

2:42 I didn't realize the Siri aspect of finding your AirTag, interesting. I actually use my AirTag when I send my son packages here in the United States because he lives far away. What I do is stick the AirTag in a self addressed envelope and put it in the box on top. When my son gets his box, he opens the box and simply puts the envelope with the AirTag inside back into the mail so it comes back to me until I send him another box. I actually have an AirTag right now in Australia that has travelled over 55,000 miles. It started off in the United States then went to Japan, Australia, Canada, Qatar and back to Australia. I am currently waiting to get the AirTag back but the person that has it is out of town until July. Pretty cool experiment that I am trying. Anyway nice video!

Good video. Thanks for creating and sharing, but precision tracking will only work for iPhones 11 and newer. I have an older iPhone 8 plus, so precise tracking will not work.😭

The NFC personal automations are a nice additional feature, and NFC tags in general can be handy when you don't want to manually do an action (or several) or use a voice command to trigger a Siri Shortcut. I have one set up to "Start Dog Walk". When I trigger it, shortcuts makes sure my earbuds are the selected audio source (incase they were connected to a second device), sets the volume to 60%, plays Overcast podcast app, starts an Outdoor Walk tracking on my Apple Watch, and marks a dog walk in my Streaks app. So just as I'm about the head out the door, tap the NFC, put iPhone in winter jacket pocket, and leave. No need to fiddle with my watch or starting audio etc while holding the leash and getting out the door.

My friend once forgot where she parked her car we walked the streets for an hour until I clicked.. my bag is in your car boot with my keys that have a wifi tracker. We found the car! It was such a relief

Not sure about the latest generation of AirTags, but my 1st Gen are a pain to get to the battery...sometimes it takes a gentle twist and sometimes a firm one and sometimes you have to just keep trying and trying and trying. But I love them...have one hidden in my car (great when parking at a stadium, mall or theme park) have one attached to my backpack and another to my keys and a spare for when I need it.

Great video, not sure if it’s been covered before but the new Duracell batteries have a coating to stop children putting then in their mouth which stops it from working in the AirTag. Fair Winds.

We leave ours in our luggage when we travel in case they get lost. And they are a great way for us to find our way back to our hotel/river boat when our luggage is in the room/cabin. If you get turned around while out abd about, walk back to your luggage.

So, I received 4 for Father’s Day. Love them. I’m currently tracking some equipment for work that I shipped to Salt Lake City. Pretty dang cool. I was able to see it cross multiple states, from the various UPS facilities to its final destination. I’ll be buying more of these. BTW, thanks for the great video.

Very useful video!! A friend gave me an air tag yesterday and I still had a lot of questions, which were all answered by your video.

Great tips! But forgot to mention that the airtags work only in Bluetooth proximity of other iPhones since they don't have a built-in GPS. So if there are no iPhones nearby they won't work.

I used two of these to track my grandchildren (5 and 10 yrs. old) at an interactive kid's museum. I was able to relax and enjoy the experience with the younger one instead of constantly hovering over both.

Amazing video. I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing. However, we do not get precision location in the United States. It shows directions but they cannot show distance from within my house. So unless I happen to hear the ping, I won’t be able to find my air tag’s location in my house. This is very unfortunate. Update: i discovered that precise location only works with iPhone 11 and above. I have iPhone 10 😣

I got one hidden inside the deck on my E Scooter, and one hidden inside the dash in the car too.. you’d have to pull them apart to get to them 😂.

I wonder if this could be a game changer for kidnappings around the world. Just attach one to your kid(s) daily. Somewhere hidden in their clothes or shoes so they can't lose it and the kidnapper won't find it.

I’ll tell you one thing that sucks about the sound that the air tag megs. I have a tile and when that thing makes a sound you can tell exactly where it’s coming from but the sound that Apple chose is really weird and it kind of sounds like it’s coming from everywhere. So if there was someway to make that better somehow that would be cool

Camera Bag. Great video, stumbled onto the site and I must say, we’ll done. Many useful tips I didn’t know about my AirTags.

BEWARE - with some holders, especially the silicone ones, they will get stretched out and the air tag will fall out. I learned this the hard way. Really make sure that there is enough material all the way around the air tag.

Ok lots of good information But you forget to let people know that precision tracking will not work on older iPhones. For example one of iPhones is a XR and it can’t use that feature. Maybe you could do a update video and provide what iPhones are required to be able to use precision tracking. 😀 Take care.
