Can confirm, here in Europe the older generation uses Facebook and the newer uses Snapchat and Instagram. No one really cares about Twitter

I wasn’t sure if I believed that but I just checked a bunch of statistic sites and yeah Twitter isn’t even in the top ten on a few of the sites I checked. It’s dwarfed by KZfaq, tic tok, instagram, we chat. What’s funny to me is that Facebook consistently ranks top of the list as most used. Heh.

The craziest part is that most iPhones out there won’t be getting this AI stuff. Of all the phones that the new iOS update will support, the only iPhone that could support the AI features at the moment is the iPhone 15 Pro. I’d hope the iPhone 16 will feature a chip strong enough to support this, but it would be very on-brand for Apple to keep this as a Pro phone exclusive for a while.

As someone who pays for Grammerly, I know it doesn't write stuff like ChatGPT; it makes suggestions on how to rephrase something. For example, if I set it to professional, it will suggest how to reword my sentence. Or if I put it to casual and change my settings to watch for proper grammar, it will do that. Grammarly is basically a more complex version of Microsoft Word.

Why is nobody talking about how Apple is limiting all the Apple intelligence features to the 15 pro and pro max? Literally every other iPhone (like the 14 pro and base 15) do not have it. It’s like they’re dropping support for current gen phones, screwing over most of their customers without them realizing it yet. Ik it’s because of less ram on other devices, but they had a whole spiel on how the iPhone dynamically chooses when to connect to private cloud computing. If they actually cared about their customers, they would have they previous gen phones connect to servers more often

Dude. AI fucking sucks at writing lmao. It's way too easy to spot AI writing. If you're talking about math, calculators exist too, and AI is not very good at math. *AI is made for writing text that can be understood by humans. It is not for generating essays or solving math problems, the only goal it was trying to succeed at is being understandable at all. Asking AI to do all of this for you is like asking a toaster to make fish filet.*

The mirroring of your iPhone onto your Mac is also something Android has had for a while, but I am sure Apple somehow implemented it differently. Also Apple __IS__ collecting your data, however whether they are using it for training AI models or selling, is something that would have to be proven, but like spatnz I wouldn't be surprised if they are doing both actively. And lastly I am glad iPhone's are starting to be more like Android, I just wish they wouldn't make the compatibility of Android to iPhone so shit, like I know they are doing it on purpose.
