Seeing this list of apps and how many of them are apps that barely anyone would use clearly we need to give the developers few months for them to come up with good apps since vision pro had just released.

Great Top 20! But I found the app ChargeTime pretty useful as it shows you both the time and also the Vision Pros battery status. A no-brainer, really.

Even if you are in a massive room, it will automatically turn off the immersion when you move past 1.5 meters? I could be wrong on the distance but it’s a small distance. Apple set it up so that it turns into passthrough once you move just a tiny bit. I’m hoping they change this personally but for now I don’t mind much because I bought the device for AR mostly

I was searching for such kind of video, so thanks. As for NBA, I was hoping it would be like sitting in stadium & not “just” watching a big floating screen with stats on the sides. But other than that, device looks amazing.

I'm surprised no one seems to be talking about the games Wylde Flowers. It's basically a "cozy life and farming sim" which I know isn't appealing to everyone... but what's cool about it is the Stereoscopic effect that's enabled by default. It gives the gave visuals a really interesting sense of depth. Also, using your hands control the character is so smooth!

That sounds so cool! I love cozy farming games. I really want to try it when I can afford it. Harvest Moon is one of my all time favorite games, so I’m betting I’d like Wylde Flowers. What I was wondering is.. you get access to all the compatible apps already on the Apple Store right? So does that include Pokemon Go? If so, what would it look like when you turn on AR mode in the game? I think it would be one of the first things I’d want to try!

@@Brian-oz8io Last I checked Pokemon Go was not available. App developers have the option to opt out of their app being available on Vision Pro, even if it may be compatible without any additional changes.

@@ryguyver gotcha thanks. I knew they had the ability to opt out, just wasn’t sure if Niantic would choose to do so given they’ve said positive things about VR in general and made some positive comments about AVP. I haven’t been able to find a list of all the available apps, might have to get out to the Apple Store and do a demo

They really need to let us arrange the icons on the home screen, make folders etc. Tired is going to get very messy very quick.

Seeing a fews AVP reviews there is one common theme: the video clips are jerky, shaky and nauseously.

I think it’s because of the head movement of the user. I’m experimenting on software settings to help smooth it but when wearing the headset it doesn’t look like that. It’s pretty smooth.

No jerkiness on the AVP. All screens are stable like you can put it on a wall and it stays there until you move it

Yes Apple should absolutely include video stabilization for screen recordings. Would make all these reviews look much better, more like what Apple showed in their own presentations.
