I am back with another Apple Watch SE review. This time, I wanted to do a 6-month review of the Watch SE and let you know if I think it is still worth getting the Apple Watch SE in 2021.

If you're on the fence about this watch, just buy it. Worth every penny. Fantastic battery life, charges up in a flash, has a timer to help you wash your hands for 20 seconds, make and receive calls, driving directions, control Spotify or Apple Music, overall it's a great product!

@@theavenger3363 What do you mean by terrible? It lasts 1.5 days if you are an active user, and only needs 1 hour to fully charge.

Yeah I have no issues with the battery on my Series 6 (gps). I charge it for a couple hours before heading to bed, then put it on to track my sleep and it lasts me all night and the next day till I charge it again.

@@ulisesramirez6614 yea it is like have the battery at 100 percent which is not good for it because a lithium battery likes to be at 50 percent because it has a equal amount of charge on both sides so that why people also charge it too 80 percent and then charge it when it’s at 20 percent because it’s only 30 more percent than 50 and that’s still fine for the battery

Considering it's an S5 chip which is really similar to the S6 and both still perform really well and the prices they've been going for I think it's more than worth it. I'd only hold off if there were no deals and it was like a week until the Apple presentation

Some say the ecg function in S6 isn’t consistently accurate. I guess same might go for blood glucose monitor if it pops up in S7. So unless you need those features, I think SE will continue to be best bang for the buck.

Got it back in December for $230 on a Target sale they had and I love it, only time I take it off is to shower and sometimes at the gym.

@@RajAdh gps is better if you want to save money bc it gets a lot more expensive with the gps + cellular edition. the size just depends on how big your wrist is

I had a Pebble way back when and had a lot of fun with it...but it was just too big for my liking. Later on I got an Amazfit Bip (cheap smart watch) and it was okay, but the heart rate wasn't nearly accurate enough for my needs. Both watches felt like gimmicks to me. They were cool...but they were a bit slow, didn't do as much as I wanted them to do and at the end of it I just wanted to go back to a regualr watch. My Apple Watch has changed that. It doesn't feel gimmicky at all! The sensors are damn accurate, the battery is perfect for me (I have no problems charging it once a day) and it does WAY more than I expected it to do. Plus it's kept me motivated to move more. Not a lot...but I do try to close my fitness rings each day. My previous 2 smart watches were pretty much just toys for me. They were fun for awhile, but I got bored of them eventually. The Apple Watch is much more and is something I see myself wearing for years to come.

@@dad.0 Absolutely Love It. I Went From The Series 3 To The 6 & It’s A Major Upgrade. The Always On Display Is Very Beneficial Because Of The Fact That When It’s On The Wrist. You Don’t Have To Raise Or Tap The Screen To See The Time On The Watch.

I ordered my case on AliExpress and the same with bands! Great quality may take a month if you can wait that long just make sure the product has reviews

I'm starting clinical next semester and looking for what watch to buy on a good watch! would I be able to leave this in a locker and walk away but still receive texts? I don't want my phone getting fluids or loose it while on the floor.

SE is nice.. but I bought series 5 size 44mm used for just 240 dollars with free 8 pcs of extra straps with 99% battery health.. For me it is the best purchase I have done because of the always on display & the ECG sensor.. But you can't go wrong even from apple watch series 3 to 6 & the SE all of the apple watches are great.. it only depends on your budget & personal opinions..

It’s a good watch for the price and if you exercise it does the job definitely recommend if you don’t want all the extras on the 6 if your a young person SE will do just fine I personally don’t wear it when I’m sleeping and find it motivated me

I’m saving for this as my Christmas gift. But then I heard the 7 is coming so I’m waiting to see if the 7 actually has something that I like. If so, I’ll skip this. But if not, SE would be a pretty good one to have.

Looking to get an Apple Watch for the first time, but I’m worried about how the band attaches to your wrist. It looks like it can just pop out the little hole. How secure isit on your wrist? Can someone just yank it off?

Very secure, it has never unexpectedly fell off and the excess it tucked in so it can't be yanked. But, there are multiple options if you don't like this band

The s7 is out now and I’m not sure which one to get, the SE or s7. I’ve just bought an iPhone 13 mini. Coming from Fitbit Inspire HR, which is uncomfortable and inaccurate. I do a lot of bushwalking here in Tassie (no more than a few hours) and want something affordable. Thanks.

I’m looking into ditching my phone. I would like to switch to only a cellular smartwatch. Things I need are call, text, maps and music. I don’t need any other features. Do you think the SE would be an option for this?

I’m pretty sure you actually need a phone to use the Apple watches I’m not sure how else you’d set one up however if you wanted to keep the phone and just use the watch id recommend it because it has all that and more

Seriously if you want to track your fitness, apple watch is the go to watch! Even the series 3 is working damn good. I bought the Se 2020 model now in 2022 after knowing there are no major improvements in the latest model. It is worth every penny. I use it for cardio, swimming, cycling. It's damn good! The only difference between se and the series 7,8... Is ECG, blood oxygen measurement and a few sensors. SE is totally worth it, go for the 44mm, unless you are a kid or you want to buy it for your parents.

Love my Apple Watch se I keep going back to mine I have a Fitbit but I sooner use the Apple Watch. Both good devices but the Apple Watch has more features and all. For a budget Apple Watch it is Amazon. I bought a cheap Amazon band as well. I have the original Nike band but I ordered a black and volt colour band. So I can not complain it is my go to one I get two days. On mine. For charge

Just ordered mine from Walmart. It's got the best price ($230) and has 2 day delivery, whereas Apple, BestBuy, Amazon, etc. all say $270 and have at least a week delivery.

GPS only would be a good option. Cellular has monthly fees also it cost more that GPS only. If you plan to leave your phone home then it woll make sense. But, I dont think anyone buys Iphone to keep it home. But again, its how you will use it.

Today I was gonna get an Apple watch series 3. Off/ on I always check for sales. Luckily before purchasing the series 3 I checked around. Online Target has the SE on sale for $229.99. The store matches their online prices in-store. So I ended up getting an SE. So far I like it.
