Is the gasket different on a GPS-only model? I notice on the iFixit site, it specifically says "Apple Watch (38 mm Series 2 & Series 3 Cellular)"

That seems a lot easier then I figured it would've been. I know there's a lot of Apple Watches (first generation) on Ebay. Other then the iCloud concern maybe it would be profitable to buy and fix them.

Do what I do to get Apple Watch LCD's for cheap. Go to eBay and look for iCloud locked ones. You can usually get them for about $90 if you're lucky.

Hey, was told from customer that their display stopped working after a week ("showed Apple logo, then black"). How would this be possible? The 3 ribbon cables were perfectly in, and straight; even put the sticker back over it. Any ideas? Although the way the customer explained it, doesn't sound like a display issue; hopefully it's software related. I didn't use a new gasket; original was in tact still.

Kyle Rebman did you make sure you closed the clips on the top of the ribbon cables? Because if not that’s the problem they are the lock for this cables not to come off

£200 for the screen? Haven’t even looked at the cost for the tools or the gasket. Get it replaced at Apple for the same price! What’s the point in this?! Economically redundant before you even start.

Using a metal razor to open the display, using a pick to pry the cable, calling the display LCD while it’s OLED. iFixit, I find your videos very professional and informative but this one is the opposite. Disappointed!
