First time visiting this weekend. Fantastic atmosphere. Everyone was so friendly. The locals weren't all hiding in their homes like the press portray. Loads of shops and pubs were open and there was plenty of money changing hands. A lot of the market stalls weren't gypsies either and they were raking in the money. It was a great family day out... And free, apart from the ten pound parking which is all money for the town.

30 000 and 30 000 car paid at least £10 parking how is the town down _ £300000 at least . Excellent day

It's a part if our English Carter the people of Appleby are born there or moved there it will never be banned should never be banned and you should only open your mouth when your spoken too don't condem anybody that's nothink to do with you the locals get a good living and all enjoy this week you sad bitter person 😅😅😅

This horse fair has been held every year since 1685, long before most of the houses there were built, so if anybody should be banned it is you Gorgi folk
