wow this was the first Dts effect i saw in Sangeeth theatre in 1996, superb...

First saw this the opening night of Jurassic Park in 1993 with my wife (at that time, girlfriend). I remember this being a big deal back then because Jurassic Park was the first movie to have this. Her high school band instructor sat behind us with their seven year old son who about had a seizure from the intense fear he experienced during the T-Rex attack. Needless to say, the theater was packed. Ahhh, the memories.

This is the best DTS ad... Irreplaceable...

Jurassic Park for sure. So amazing. It was played in a dome theater and I feel fortunate to have experienced that and boy howdy, did they crank the volume up. I think it was the single best theater experience I had.

I saw the original Jurassic Park in DTS - many viewers almost fell out of their seats during the kitchen scene when a raptor blew air into the window. The main draw of the DTS was its compression that made sound effects loud as hell.

I Saw this logo on one of the DVD movies I saw During my High School Days in the year of 2015. We Were about to watch Flubber when this logo showed up, And It was crazy! Aaah! Like old times. Like good old times indeed.

We use to put these clips on the film in movie theaters when they were playing movies in 35mm. That's why many people have seen this in theaters. The theater had to have had a DTS processor & sound head for you to hear it in that format. In 2009 DTS Digital Cinema was purchased by Beaufort International Group Plc. and became known as Datasat Digital Entertainment. You can see these logos (ie. Datasat, Dolby) at the end of the movie credits. It shows you what a movie soundtrack format are available for cinema.

Jurassic Park 1993 I don't remember much about the movie, but I remember the theatre shaking and everyone cheering for this DTS sequence.

It's also on "The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over" DVD. Loved it since I first saw it for Jurassic Park.

I got this logo on the Monty Python and the Holy Grail DVD when set to DTS audio. It is pretty impressive and blows the pants off you if have your system turned up too loud!

This Ad brought extra interest on movies like Godzilla, Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbour... Without this Ad, movie is incomplete...

This gave me nightmares as a kid. In the nightmare, I go to DTS theaters and watch a movie I wanna watch. But all the sudden, the screen transformed into a vortex then I got sucked in. After a few seconds, This logo plays but in 90883392% volume, Then my head explodes. The nightmare ends. Thank goodness the logo ended.

I saw this logo when I watched ''Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" at the Carmike 7 Theater in North Little Rock, Arkansas (Now it's demolished and replaced by a Barnes and Noble Bookstore) AND IT WAS LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Analysis: The Old Films and Songs were in Black and White,RGB colours Background with Mono,Stereo Type Sound Effects.Then the Film Industry is developed with advanced Audio Technology DTS Sound Effects, and HD(High Definition) Video Clarity.The Television Box is replaced with LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and LED( Light Emitting Diode) Screens.The LED is much better to view than the LCD bcoz LED screen doesn't affect the Eyes.The Smart TV with Internet connection has Multiple Advantages which shows the Pictures in 3D(Closer view) view in a Transparent Background. Yes, the cinema side of DTS is now Datasat Digital Entertainment! Same sound engineering, same engineers too. They'll have a surround sound trailer sometine soon in 2011. They also have a presence in the digital cinema. If you're a fan of DTS then you'll love DDE just as much!!

@mdrayan1 As a fellow audio-lover, happy listening :-) Both DTS and TrueHD are leaps ahead in dynamics and clarity. I could suggest some films notable for the grade of their audio and visual mix sometime. One exceptional sounding (very) high-res 7.1 film is THE GOLDEN COMPASS. Go for the Tim Burton animations, too. NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, etc.

All the DVD transfers of this trailer zoom out slightly at 0:17- the DTS laserdiscs I have are transferred correctly (and the ones from Buena Vista are from a video, rather than film, source). The 35mm flat trailers of this had the framing messed up, so the "THIS THEATRE FEATURES" text at the top was cut off a bit- if you framed the show according to this trailer, everything else would have too much showing at the top with the bottom slightly cut off.
