Tools: Torx-20 screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, flathead screwdriver, large adjustable wrench, pliers, 3/8” wrench, 1/4” nut driver.

OUTSTANDING VIDEO! I was a little confused on the air shutter. Great explanation of what the other style might be along with this type that used the new shutter. Very easy to follow!

Great video.. I think.. :) Going to do the job now. The only thing that was not explained and mentioned twice was the adjustment of the blue flame.Says to adjust / check for blue flame. Tells me how to check for it but does not say how it is adjusted if not right.. That would have been a better finish to an otherwise good instruction video..

What is the point of the part that looks like a little metal shield, which covers about half of that opening? Is it to restrict air flow? The orifice and regulator make sense. The last part wasn't really explained though, other than how to line up the screw hole.

So for anybody else that has a new GE dryer there is two hidden screws you have to take off the control panel to get to them. The instructions say nothing about them. Two screws in the back hold on the control panel and slides to the rear

The instructions that come with the GE conversion parts SUCK. It looks like it's been copied 100 times from a bad copy .It says to remove the top panel there's two screws in the front and take off the top panel you can't get the top panel off after the two screws. Not on my new GE dryer. How do u get the top panel off? Model GTD65GBSJ4WS.
