Literally, nearly every washer that they sells is that Fancy High-Tech HE garbage that it doesn't clean well, or it is designed to fails prematurely plus they are very difficult or even impossible to repair.

And those LG "Direct Drives" don't last that much as the real old school "Direct Drives" by Whirlpool.

9:14 The only washer that have at least a decent wash action is the Amana one with the old school Agitator and Tub, although it not a Direct Drive and it uses the cheaply built VMW gearcase.

You are completely right! Those VMW washers suck but are probably at least slightly better than an LG. I've used the Roper version, it sucks.

@@isaac24 The only "old-school" washer that is still made today is the Speed Queen TC5, although I don't like the electronic based controls.

@@isaac24 Even GE discontinued the Hydrowave and switched to VMW as seen on this video below. (And ironically, the hydrowave was quieter and more simpler than their newer VMW HE washer, which it is very loud.) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r6iFe9OUnNSvkXk.html

Disgusting, I used to do the same thing goto stores and look what was out before the whole HE models were invented, the technology is just sickening and so absolutely unnecessary. I’ll never get rid of my direct drive.

Typical garbage. None of those appliances are worth anything and they will all be dead within 5 years at most. All they're good for is throwing error codes and wasting resources.
