thank you for this video laura!! & i've got some more questions. firstly i'm planning to do a gap-year next year so that i'll be applying for uni (hopefully) for 2021. The problem is at that point in time, i'm not in school anymore so i won't have an english teacher to ask, in order to get a reference. Can i ask someone else instead or just hope that my teacher will do it anyways? and the second question: is there a certain amount of time in which you have to accept your unconditional offer or are you able to do it just before the freshman year starts??

Nele Ackermann you can also get a reference from an employer or other professional 😊💗 well... you probably won’t want to wait haha, why would you want to wait??

@@LauraLangheinrich well, i'm not a 100% sure if i'm really going to study abroad (but seventy i would say) and i also want to apply for some unis in my near environment. so in case i got accepted from both unis, i need some time to figure out where to go (and i'm so indecisive sometimes i don't know how long that would take haha ;) )

Your video is super hopeful! I’m planning to apply for Fall 2021! So nervous already haha. Do you think Scottish Universities are hard to get into? Like west Scotland, QMU?

Yaaay that's exciting! 🎉 It depends on the uni but I wouldn't say that they are particularly hard to get into. 😀 find a few courses you are interested in and check out the course requirements 🎀

This was quite useful. I want to study in Scotland as well (hopefully, unfortunately I don't have so many options there). I had some troubles understanding this whole process since where I am from applying before having the grades is not common. I have also expected UCAS to be a bit different. Thanks for the video.

I will not have an english teacher .. maybe if I take some courses by my own I can give the email of my personal teacher (a private organism) do you know if it’s work ? And yes ! On the UCAS website it says you can ask an employer, volunteering supervisor or trainer :) so it shouldn't be a problem :) www.ucas.com/undergraduate/applying-university/how-get-ucas-undergraduate-reference That video is coming Tuesday 😍

Hallo ich hätte mal ne frage. Ich würde gern ein Auslandssemester in Schottland machen, aber die Studiengebühren sind so unglaublich hoch. Weist du ob man da die Gebühren von der Heimatuni beglichen bekommt oder ob man die aus eigener Tasche zahlen muss?

you can apply for 2021/22 because application deadlines close mid January. but you can also apply for clearing! check out www.ucas.com/ for more info
