I find a silicone "brush" works better than an eyeshadow applicator. I have also used a silicone sponge which works just as well and is probably more accessible

I tried it, and the powder along with the top coats peeled off within a day and I was left with the base colour... Any tips on prolonging the wear?

When I tried the water based top coat + regular top coat method, the nail polish got wavy and weirdly crinkled up :c

Tinkili that always happens me but I think it’s because the water topcoat is exposed to the air for too long so I let it dry to the touch and then place my normal topcoat onto the nail . I hope that helps

I have found you need to wait at least 5 minutes after applying the water top coat and regular top coat.

Ah, at least I'm not alone with that problem 😳 I tried both methods, bit neither worked... Maybe it's just the wrong top coat? 🤷

which water based top coat are you using? I've only tried little ondine which worked great! it may possibly be because of the particular formula.

TFS! How long does your polish stay on using this method? Whenever I try this, my top layer peels off within a day. Do you have any tips to share? Thanks!

Emjay 1068 that's pretty much how long it lasts. I would just suggest using regular gel polish if you want it to last a decent amount of time.

Can you use nail foils without gel polish? After watching nail career education's video on it I wasn't sure. It seems to be like a transfer sheet from what she showed and you need the sticky layer gel gives

I use the Little Ondine secret over powders and stamping the normal top coat, but I get a cloudy cast over the polish. It looks like I've put on a really thick layer of the Secret, but I apply it really thinly. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm getting really disheartened. Great video though - thank you xxxx
