Thanks for posting this as intend to visit tomorrow and 02 looks like it will be the runway in use so used this for a bit of additional briefing.

I live just 2 miles from Shuttleworth and visit often, it's lovely seeing other planes come in and land. If there are children there they shout to their parents 'dad, there's a plane!' it's quite lovely to see them get so excited to be probably the nearest they will get to a real aeroplane.

I landed like that at Wanaka and got told off for hitting the runway too soon!
