Just bought a '51 that has been sitting for decades. Gonna be an interesting project to say the least. Love the white color of yours, seems everyone else's is green.

Change the oil and filter and put some Lucas oil in it and Valvoline Max Life in red jug.. It will probably run smooth afterwards. Plus all the other fluids, filters, and regular maintenance.

Put a 283 small block Chevy adapt it to the stock trans, Just like it would have been done in the Sixtys!

@approvedautos4469 Lol 😆 yes actually I am. I would really like a 61 willys then we'd be the same age, but if my truck was a year older than me my feelings wouldn't be hurt. I drive an 84 Toyota 4x4 pickup I love it but I got a soft spot for the willys pickup trucks.

Wow! It's amazing what's happening with classic cars. I feel that as we match forward with technology driven vehicles, there are many of us who crave the individuality only found in a classic. In California 2030 there will be no new gas engine vehicles legally sold, I'm gonna be the guy at the intersection making all the noise!

Just start it and let run a little bit at night in the dark and you will if the plug wires are grounding or arcing. They look old and crusty.
