One of the biggest internationally renowned k-pop boy groups has made a summer comeback! EXO has blessed our summer with their catchy and funky tune, “Ko Ko Bop!” It has a much different feel compared to their winter comeback, “For Life,” that was released at the end of last year, and we really enjoyed the reggae and EDM inspired track. This latest song comes from their newest full album, “The Wars” and contains lyrics that Baekhyun, Chen, and Chanyeol created! The members sing about loosening up and enjoying the rhythm while dancing to the “Ko Ko Bop,” their anthem for the burning summer days ahead.
The music video itself was full of pastel colours and hallucinogenic images of rainbows, water, and floating food which is different from what these pop sensations are used to. The choreography was sharp and thrilling and we were all amazed with the fact that some YG choreography made its way into EXO’s dance routine!
