President Kennedy was not without his frailties as many people know, however, he was a true statesman with just the most iconic voice. When our famous Scottish infantry regiment, the Black Watch played their pipes & drums for Jack & Jackie on the Whitehouse lawn some ten days or so before Oswald took his life, he said some very noble words about Scots & Scotland & our descendants in America, calling us amongst their finest citizens. What many people don't know is that, President Kennedy boarded the buses carrying the rank & file Black Watch soldiers & shook hands with each & every Scottish soldier. That was the measure of a true USA president & he is loved. 💙❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸

I too have great respect for President Kennedy, I was born during his presidency and have read about his life for most of mine. But you had to go and spoil your post with that comment about Oswald. And no mention of Churchill, your former Prime Minister.

@@justonecornetto80 I didn't know that about Louis. Apparently he was one of the few monarchs who became king as a young child and was not deposed anywhere along the way. Another long reign was that of Henry III of England (1216-72), 56 years, though he came perilously close to be deposed by Montfort. Also, Edward III, fifty years (1327-77). And Henry VI, 1422-71, interrupted by his having been deposed from 1461 to 1470.

Well, lets see. JFK was a liar who misled the people about the condition of his health. He was high half the time on prescription pain medicine. He boofed a different woman in the White House every night right under his wife's nose. If you ask ME, he would fit in more with the way things are TODAY if a president represents the current state of its people. Mr. Trump is not a lair. He doesn't drink and to the best of our knowledge isn't on any mind altering prescriptions. And he is faithful to his current wife as far as we know. I think he would have fit in better in the early 60's. Perhaps that's the reason he is hated so much. He doesn't fit in with the way people are and act today!

Compare the most learned, eloquent leadership mind of JFK to #45 - exactly, there IS no comparison! “We the People” were brutally injured in mind, heart, and soul when JFK was taken from us - we still live with those scars today. And justice will never be served in his memory, nor Churchill’s, unless those who would rise up with the same evil as Hitler, Mussolini, and Tojo that we witnessed on January 6th, 2021, are ALL held accountable to what preserves our freedoms - what is Right and the Rule of Law!

No, its NOT true that Leonard Jerome was in President Lincoln's cabinet. When Lincoln was president, Jerome was in New York City speculating on Wall Street, doing deals with Cornelius Vanderbilt and even helped defend New York City during the New York Draft Riots of 1863. In addition, they were NOT Jewish. That's just an old wives tale. His mother was Scottish and his father was actually descended from French Huguenot's, which, if you do not know, were protestants who held to the reform ideas of Calvinism.

@Timothy TwoTwoThree Well, first off dude, Jewish is a religion. Not a bloodline. I'm a Catholic myself. Would you say that my bloodline is Catholic? I would say its predominantly German. Now, Churchill's grandfather was a descendant of Timothy Jerome (Churchill's 4th great grandfather) who was actually French and Huguenot, which, if you do not know, are protestants who strictly adhere to Calvinism. He was born in the 1600's in England and was the one who immigrated to the Colonies which eventually became the United States. So I don't know how far back you are going to determine that they were of the Jewish faith. But I could argue that MOST people who believed in God were at one time Jewish until the coming of Christ. As for Leonard Jerome owning the New York Times, that rumor has been going on for years but its simply not true. He was a major investor in the paper, but was not the majority shareholder and did not own it. Also, the New York Times was never based in Brooklyn. Always Manhattan. Although they moved a few times. During the time period in question, they would have been on both Nassau Street and Park Row. A few years after Jerome died, they moved to their famous location at 1 Times Square. The building the ball is dropped from on New Years Eve. Also he was NEVER a billionaire. The worlds very first billionaire was John D. Rockefeller and he became one in 1916. Jerome died in 1891. As a major Wall Street stock speculator, he may have known Rothschild. He was also friends with the Vanderbilts. I should have been a history professor but sadly, my parents had other ideas.
