Karyna, I have the exact same Carene (also in Fine nib) and I absolutely LOVE that pen. It is gorgeous, it is sooo nice to write with, and feels very comfortable in the hand.

Really enjoy listening to your videos while swatching inks from last month's Inkflight box. I had my own (happy) accident with ink not completely flushed out of a nib. FWP's "The Ribbiting Pond" {a blue that reminds me of Cinderella's dress} plus FWP's "Bumbling Blossom" {a bubblegum pink that looks just like Dubble Bubble} turned into a *gorgeous* coppery color that I like much better than either of the "official" colors. That nib / bottle stamp fell into my Amazon cart, and I'm adding a sample that Pilot Iroshizuku chiku-rin to my next pen order. Thanks for the pen-ableing! I definitely would not have tried the chiku-rin just based on the swatch I saw there - which is a shame bc I really love the Iroshizuku inks. Thanks for the video - it's fantastic!

2:18 ...I wondered how people , do that dark and light ink swatch...thanks for sharing that technique...I will have to give that a try. those are kewl stamps...I make my own, using white erasers..and carve them out. lol 3:35 ...your green ink , is close to the Rohrer & Klingner's Old Alt-Goldgrun color.. What is it, about ink Swatches that makes it so enjoyable to view ?? Is it the KZfaqr's good nrgy ? is it the Ink and color ? is it the proactive management skills of ones collection? is it all the above or more? either way , i love watching these videos.

You picked again such a pretty combination of pens and inks. It was a real pleasure to watch and enjoy. At first I thought Colosseum could be similar to my beloved „Rouille d‘ancre“, but I think Diamine is more brown-ish. Kelp Tea is such a surprise when it dries. -love it!! Oh and you reminded me, that something s wrong with my Lamy Accent, inked with Amazing Amethyst: mine writes a very light grey-ish purple (love the slightest grey tone it has)

The Diamine Colosseum I have looks different to the swatches on the Cult Pens site. It's still very pretty, though. Yes to Kelp Tea - dry, but pretty! Strange about your Amazing Amethyst!

Great lineup! I also inked my Pelikan Brown Black this month, I used Pilot Tsukushi and it’s working out to be a great pairing. I inked my Esterbrook Estie in Cola with De Atramentis Cola. I have a Pilot Falcon inked with Montblanc Pop Pink. I am also working through my sample stash and this month’s grab brought up Sailor Manyo Kobe and J. Herbin Gris Nuage.
