@@CaliKim29 our problem is that we live in studio city. So although our condo has doubled in value, if we sell, we can’t get a house in this neighborhood. I suppose we’d have to sell, rent for a few years until the bubble bursts a little, or move to the hinterlands in the valley. Or win the lottery. 😂

Darn voles are clearing out my garden. Now they have devastated my shelling peas. I really wanted to harvest peas this year. Vole Repellent and cats aren't working. I am going to try sonic stakes next. They are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I harvesteed a bunch of mustard greens yestrday. I'll get another harvest in about three weeks, maybe chard too. My pole beans have sprouted, and my cucumbers are starting to climb. Yesterday I sowed seeds for replacement determinant tomato plants, Martino's Roma, Ace-55, and Black Krim.

@CaliKim29 3 ай бұрын
You are correct, it's generally recommended to spray pesticides or other chemicals on plants in the late afternoon or evening after bees have finished foraging for the day. Additionally, many pesticides are less effective when applied during the hottest part of the day because they can evaporate quickly or degrade in the sunlight. Hope this helps!! GREAT WORKAROUND!!! K
