nice one man - you playing very well to the smooth Jazz.. I started with the Art Blakey / Tony WIlliams / Max Roach late 50s 60s thing.. so when I play this stuff it ends up being too busy - excellent restraint and you are faithful to the track - your kit sounds great as well.. I have these terrible clear Evans skins on this kit I bought last year.. dreadful tone very trash can like.

Thanks, I love the sound of Count Basie in the late 50s, early 60s when Sonny Payne was on Drums. Payne's kit was tuned very high for the sizes. He was playing 22in Bass Drums and 13 & 16 in toms but tuner them up more to project out. Only thing i need are some darker cymbals
