quick shifter is a bit clunky at low RPM, but above 7000, oh men, it's buttery smooth!

Hi im from Malaysia, thanks for review.I am also thinking about buying this motorcycle. here the price is only RM 60k, when compared to the 600cc category I think this motor is easy to manage because it has a 2 cylinder engine.

RS660 is sexy, light, enough powerfull with decent suspension but damn, I don't like the twin sound in a motorcycle... Had one before, probably worst sound of any engine configuration but this one isn't that bad Even signle cyl can sound better. Having V4 now but for me, I4 is the best.

I think this one sounds great! I'm the same with certain bikes though, would never buy them because of how they sound 😂

I wouldn't say more when both have pipes, but certainly more than a stock inline 4

Here in France the quickshifter is standard on the rs660 and is an option on the tuono

@@onthebackwheel reckon if I dyno tune and get a full system would be fun like reving it out? Coming of a mt10 and a aprilla v4 would be to much for me plus I love the look of the 660🙂

@@ktm-kr9mm I used to have a tuono v4 and still really enjoyed it. Nowhere near as quick, but fun in that you could use all the power and not go straight to jail

Idk. I am not seeing it. No hate but, sounds like a ninja 400, almost identical. No twin besides the tl1000 sounds good.

@@onthebackwheelI've owned three outright sport bikes - my last an RSV41100 APRC - and one sport touring( SV1000S) and one standard, absolutely NONE of them had a decent sounding exhaust. I understand it's not the same as hearing it in person, but if your mic does it any justice this HAS GOT to be the best sounding stock exhaust I've ever heard(albeit not in person😉) and one I'd actually consider leaving on - as crazy as that sounds!😁 Any reliability issues so far?

@@marcpeters4599 it's a great sounding bike for sure. I only had it for 2 weeks so can't comment on long term reliability. Hearing pretty good things though after some initial teething issues
