Aprilia RST1000 Futura Yoshimura Exhaust with H-Pipe

10 жыл бұрынGot some Yoshimura slip-ons for a good deal. H-Pipe already installed. The "H" in H-Pipe really should stand for Heinous! You definitely won't make friends with your neighbors anytime soon. Could be me but I think they do sound a little deeper and less raspy than Staintunes. What do you think? Had to custom fabricate hangers. Using all stock hanger locations including the grommet holes up front. I still need to fabricate a license plate holder. Yoshimura pipes are about 21 inches long. They could stand to be a little shorter but it's not too bad. Still shorter than a Diavel! Haha!

Sounds fantastic - nice and deep .I have the h-pipe already fitted just working on some slip on options.

What all did you have to make or get in order to use the Yoshimura slip on's? It sounds great and I would like to that with my RST.

+Ryan Saxon Thank you. The Yoshis came with flanges and mounting straps. With the flanges I welded on little sleeves that fit the stock pipes then clamped. I had to make a custom hanger for the straps to bolt to at the rear. Note the two twists of steel at the back. It was not terribly hard.

What brand h pipe? Did u have to remap the fuel injection??

Never touched any of the plumbing. Just removed the stock muffler unit and fabricated the two Yoshis in. Yes, I did have to write a richer map to the ECU. Twas long ago. No clue how I did any of it anymore. :)
