Damn I've been really thinking about getting the rsv4 soon, but then I keep seeing videos like these on the Aprilia popping up in my recommended. Idk if this is a sign 😭

Hot start issues are common on rsv4’s. Lithium battery, and APworkshops updated battery cable set, you’ll never have that issue again. Next will be stator ;)

They have shit batteries from factory, Mine wouldn't start after i got gas, a few times bought new battery never had a problem good vid flow

Get it checked for sure,but definitely change the battery like you said Yamaha OEM batteries are sh** my M did the same.Hope it the battery,such a beautiful machine n for the $$$ now this should never happen !!! 🙌🏼🤦🏻‍♂️

It seems more like the battery than the bike. I had the same issue on my R1 with a Shorai battery and i had to get someone to jumpstart me just like they did. Those crossplane engines and V4s are hard to turn over so yo need a fair amount of speed to jumpstart it like that. Also Lithium batteries dont like heat and take some time to warm up in extreme cold. I found all this out the hard way. So far so good with my 2023 RSV4

What year is your RF? I have the 2023 base model. I had the same issue on an R1 I had and I had a Shorai lithium so i think its just certain lithium batteries.

@@skatman3872 Good deal you got a sealed or gel battery? Those are rock solid. I believe many get lithium for weight savings but the sealed and gels work great they are just slightly heavier.
