Couldnt agree more, the whole part of scooter is that its practical and ease of use, storage ect. This thing is also huge and would be difficult to filter in traffic

I've had this bike 34000km. Love it. Filters traffic better than adventure bikes, just as narrow as a vespa. Stores my shark helmet under the seat. LOADS of power. Use it every day and for long 600km journeys.

Maxi scooter's are something like chooper's.. comfortable for a long drive distance.. and they also pretty fast.. ;) example yamaha t-max 530 and Gilera nexus 500.. -max speed 180km/h.. :) and this Aprilia is amazing..

Totally agree! It's not going to compete with a sports bike, so why not go the other direction? Full fairings with heated everything, lots of storage. Also if they had gone with a 600cc Direct Injection 2 stroke (based on their 50cc version) They would save weight, increase power, better gas mileage and have more room for storage. I know Aprilia made a direct injection RS250 and tested others.

But dude make 100 km trip on a sport bike, and make the same distance on this scooter. Its more comfortable and have similar performance.

its just a slow sport bike, it has no glove boxes ,wont hold a full face helmet under the seat, all the things that make a scooter a scooter, why bother? just buy a sport bike, why should we have to trade utility for speed? atleast the t max retained some of the scooter function
