Super cette réappropriation du répertoire pour flûte à bec par des ensembles motivés et libérés.La musique n'est elle pas aussi pour tous les mélomanes une assise pour se préserver dans un monde où l'on voit tant de valeurs refuges être méprisées.Bravo au soliste très à l'aise dans les détachés rapides et les phrasés exigeant en technique de respiration.

wonderful performance - and so fast - manages to knock off nearly 2 mins from the equally beautiful, but far more sedate, performance by Frans Bruggen. The second movement is particularly beautiful. As a player who is still struggling with the third movement after some years of trying, I never fail to be amazed at the abilities of players like this - who make it look effortless.

I start each day by listening to this and it bring me great peace. I love all interpretations when done with excellence. So far this performance and the one of Hans Bruggen are my favorites. I am preparing to play this for a recital and I love it.

Hör dir mal Frans Brüggen an … und die unsäglichen Verzierungen im langsamen Satz … der Ton, viel zu sehr überzogen was die Intonation trübt.

Auf HOLZ natürlich ! Plastik spricht schnell an, hält aber nicht lange durch und ist mit der Spucke " ver-stopft " . HOLZ klingt erst nach " EIN-SPIELE N " gut !

Barbara Ricordy - recorders are often seen as instruments with a limited dynamic range - I'm afraid it is the nature of the instrument and not a reflection on the player's ability. Modern recorders such as the Mollenhauer Modern - are harmonic instruments that can be played more strongly in the lower registers without the note 'cracking', and hence have greater dynamic possibilities, but IMO they lose something of the ethereal beauty of the Baroque recorder. I guess you either accept the limitations and focus on the beauty, or you listen to other instruments! Personally, I find the recorder more interesting and beautiful to listen to than the modern transverse flute - many people will disagree I'm sure!

OmG viel zu schnell!!! Musizieren Leute. Keine Fingerfertigkeit demonstrieren. Ich habe das selbst oft gespielt aber in viel moderaterem Tempo. Ich denke fast alle barockliteratur dient heute nur dem Selbstzweck schnell schnell schnell. Die musikalische und musikantische Schönheit geht dabei buchstäblich „flöten“… auch der langsame Satz ist nicht schön musiziert: das muss Singen. !!!!
