But Queen Esthers fast was to reverse hermans decree that was abt killing the Israelites, vashti was long gone in chap 1, when esther&other ladies we're brought in for the King to choose a new queen in chap 2.. Esther's fast&mission in chap 4-6 was to finish their enemy herman, save her people, then secure a posterity for them in that foreign land....
