I feel like if Kana died then Aqua might actually lose it because in chapter 83 Aqua said if he loses another person he cares about he doesn’t know if he can take it anymore and when he says that he looks like he’s at his breaking point. So I believe if something happens to Kana then Aqua might just snap and will probably take out his anger by getting revenge on his father

There's another death flag, people are talking about it on Twitter... but the last panel shows a poster of the tour on a door... with other ripped posters (possibly done in a fit of rage). People think it's a crazy fan, possibly the guy hiding his face at the start of 117. At the beginning she also wore glasses like Yura Katayose.

Okay, hear me out: I don't think Aqua reciprocates Kana's feelings. Why? Well, in the last panel where Kana is confessing to Aqua, you see the stars in his eyes are still black. If he reciprocated, wouldn't the stars in his eyes become white or just disappear entirely? This might not mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it was just something I noticed. I think this further proves my theory that Kana will not make it to the end of the story, because she's the closest to Aqua and she has had the most Ls. However, the more I thought about it, the more I think Hikaru won't be the one to kill Kana. I actually think it might be Nino. I mean, think about it. Outside of seeing Ruby attempt to imitate Ai, we haven't seen much of Nino being useful to Hikaru. So, for some reason, I imagined Nino in this chapter was somehow watching Aqua and Kana's date play out. She probably assumed that the last thing Hikaru wanted to do before eventually dying was getting to meet Aqua, and she was probably willing to do anything to make it happen. (Okay, side note, but I kinda headcanon Nino as a yandere for Hikaru. This might be wrong later on, but it's just a fun headcanon I had lol) Anyways, back on track of my theory, Nino will just assume that Hikaru wants to meet Aqua, so she figures that killing the person he might potentially enter into a relationship with is the only way to make that happen. I think her method of killing might be different to Hikaru's. For one, I headcanon that Nino hasn't killed anyone beforehand, so she might be a little nervous as to how she might go about this. Eventually, after a potential conversation with Hikaru, she might decide to actually go through with her plan. What would make this even sadder is if she killed Kana on Christmas. How she might choose to have Kana killed? Well, she could kill Kana the same way that Ai died, blackmailing someone with information on Kana to have them kill her. She could also try to do Hikaru's modus operandi and try to form a bond with Kana before killing her. Honestly, I could see both of those happening. The first one could be true because Nino would think it would be easier than just having to do it herself. Plus, if the person gets caught, the blame would be pinned on them instead of her, thus letting her walk free. However, if my yandere Nino headcanon is true, then I could see her potentially try to copy Hikaru's killing technique as a way of attempting to get him to notice her. If we want to take this a step further, maybe Hikaru could have her arrested and Nino just flips out as the person she was obsessing over ended up stabbing her in the back. Anyway, this is just my personal theory! (This sounds a lot like something you'd find on Wattpad, AO3, or Tumblr, huh? Sorry 'bout that, didn't mean for it to go that way 😅) What do you think? Just as ive been fearing from these last few chapters, the foreshadowing has been eerie in spite of all the romantic sub-plot. It's clear Aqua's gonna be torn between different paths and outcomes, Aka does like to do specific dates (Love is War) so we're in for something pretty huge when it comes around. I don't know how to feel about where the story is going. All I can say is that Aka has forgotten what the story was all about. He can't write romance well, I can see that very well. Kana, a genius child prodigy whose wish was to become a great actress, just gave up that dream because she wants to be Aqua's idol. Idek how being someone's star is a dream, espeically because you've feelings for them. The fact that Akane was called a "simp" for Aqua, but now you have "Kana-chan" doing this crap as well. Let me just say one thing, Aka can't write stuff clearly. Aqua is such a weird character now. I know Aka has confirmed that Aqua has feelings for Kana, but I can't see it? At first, the kanafans said it was because he wanted to protect her. Well, he isn't really doing a good job at it. No, Aqua can't protect anyone. He couldn't protect his own sister, Akane had to be there to protect her from Kamiki. Idk what he's planning or maybe that's because Aka's going through a writer's block, because we haven't gotten to the story's main theme. Hikaru and Ai. Why did Hikaru and Ai break up? What did Ai say to Hikaru? Ai wouldn't do that to just anyone, girl is no simp. If she hadn't cared for Hikaru, she would've never confronted Airi. Nor would she have kept it all a secret. Why didn't we see this more? Wasn't the story about revenge? Is getting revenge, or more like focusing more on that such a trivial thing? Aka can't write romance clearly. He painted Akane, a character with such wits and beauty, as a perfect actress. But she had her own flaws. Her caring, ride or die attitude wit Aqua was degraded to being a "simp". Now, Aka has completely casted her aside. Then we have Kana, who just a chapter ago had completely given up on Aqua. Now she's back at it again. I mean, choose one side. Are Kana's feelings for Aqua so low, that she would give up on him so easily? Akane had to clear up everything with her to get her back it again. That too, Akane still has feelings for Aqua but unlike Kana, she doesnt go around announcing it everywhere. Girl has already accepted that Aqua and Kana are better off, without even giving herself a chance. Kana would've never been able to reach this far without Akane and the writer himself, changing everything for her sake. Aka has literally made her this, "top-tier girl who deserves everything", and even changed the story's direction because of her. The problem is, majority of Oshi no ko fans dont mind this because they like Kana and her "crappy, mood swings". I think we're reaching the end and Aka will wrap it all quickly. The reason why I said that Kana won't die is because characters like Kana are, in any thriller s P.S- Idek if we'll get to see Kamiki's inner monologue. Edit: idk why but looking at the comments make me feel what a weirdass story oshi no ko has become. People are comparing star eyes, galaxy eyes and all sorts of eyes, they're paying attention on then black, white star eyes to decipher Aqua's emotions- bro wth who the heck cares about that all. As a person, I don't understand Kamiki, who is supposedly the antagonist, not being shown in the manga much more. We're nearing the end, how much will you hide him??
