i liked the gameplay but it seemed easy how most the enemies hit first but they all died anyways, is it just a not competitive game?

This stream was obviously filled with Startend nostalgia, but what got me more is how they still played and operated as the tight-knit team they were back then. Towa's calm and accurate IGL:ing keeping Aqua in check while bringing Suisei along and them just being to communicate with ease was just so fun to watch again. This was in Pubs of course but that didn't stop them from showing up and getting it done like it was a tournament. Hoping they play ranked together at least once sometime in the future.

Seeing as others say it was Aqua who got this collab to happen. My best guess is that she wants to play with others but very few people can keep up with her playstyle and she is very shy to go looking for people who can match her pace so the best members to collab with are Suisei for having great skill for the little amount of time played, and Towa who can match both but more importantly, reminds Aqua that she needs to slow down a bit.

This is what I noticed most as well, with my extremely limited Apex knowledge. Suisei and Towa really covered all bases to allow Aqua to go ham when the time was right.

@@Micheldied since they know akutan having better skills than them, they try their best to not let akutan got knock down. Suichan and Towa did really do the nice cover for akutan.

@@iDeLaYeD_o Aqua can get quite sweaty (not toxic, she's the silent type) in the game and it's understandable if she doesn't want to make her collab partner uncomfortable. If she played Apex with casual members I'd imagine she would deliberately put a limiter on herself 😂

@@karmunlee8772 I think Aqua and Towa are equally skilled in Apex. The thing is just that Aqua has a very aggressive playstyle, so naturally she ends up having the most kills/damage at the end of the round. But Towa has a really balanced playstyle and is good at planning, supporting and guiding the team which is necessary for survival

Lots of love for Aqua & well deserved. But on her own without the relative calming influence of Towa & the ‘relaxed’ attitude of Suisiopath, It would not b the same. This trio works on a lot of levels that truly allow Aqua to shine. I have neither the dexterity nor remaining eyesight to actually play Apex but watching this ‘team’ function as such is a real joy.

let me tell you, as an apex player with 1000+ hours, aqua is a beast in solo and in a team. she solo climbed to masters (2nd highest rank, top 500 is first) when it was arguably the hardest time to do so. she developed crazy gamesense. not to discredit towa and suisei! both of them improved soo much since the tourney. if they ever gonna enter one again, it will be even more impressive than last time.

It was suppose to be an endurance stream but aqua is just too good that it only ended up taking them roughly 4 hours to complete the challenge.

Bangalore fits Aqua and StartEnd really well. Bangalore is more compatible in team play than wraith. It prevents her from over pushing and Bangalore's passive suits her perfectly as a fragger given that she has ridiculous mechanics when it comes to movements already. The smoke also gives her a chance to support the team despite being far from them. Not to mention that the Nemesis-R99 fits her playstyle way too perfectly. It's interesting to see Suisei as vantage, but since it is similar to valk, I can see why she chose it and since they don't need the valk ult for rotation, vantage is indeed the right choice. Towa on watson seems a bit off at first given that aqua-centered playstyle is push-focused, but it actually made sense as she prevented/stalled most third-party and basically ties up the loose ends that aqua creates when pushing inside a building. Less need for gibby bubble too with bangalore's smokes. As usual, I love how she is in the middle between aqua and suisei since her game sense and experience allows her to keep up with aqua's actions while still being able to keep track with both aqua and suisei and fill the gap between the two. Suisei got better once again with her aim and placement in the field. A long ranged scout fits her really well and the long range lets her support aqua's playstyle despite the gap in experience. StartEnd is a really good team and this comp suits them really well

This Bangalore with R99+Nemesis felt like Selen in last VSaikyou all over again, I know it's kinda considered meta, but still makes me wonder if she watched tournament and decided to give it a try.

@@schneider9943 Sorry, but it didn't feel like Selen imo. They have the same legends and loadout but I feel like they have different playstyles. Mainly because Selen is playing at a higher elo in vsaikyo compared to how aqua is in this clip so Selen considers her positioning as well as her vicinity before making a move while aqua mostly w-key here since the lobby is at a lower elo than her and can just rely on her mechanics. Even in pubs, Selen mostly adapts to her teammates especially when she knows them while aqua is more used to solo-queue. So, it's hard to compare and contrast them, but it just felt different for me lol.

I remember playing btf1 beta online in the past if not mistaken. If player not movement, its hard to know where that player was but once slightly move i just like wait something isn't right on that certain small part of the screen

Due to startend She have a good relationship with towa and suisei now they sometimes mention they hang out. Also I mean the cynical me they cashing on the startend brand its a really popular team among hololive fan despite only in tournament once.
