Getting into a new sport is great, but having the ability to get into more than one sport is even better! In this review we look at the Aqua Marina Blade, an all round inflatable SUP that you can windsurf as well. With its stable outline shape, central fin and UJ thread the Blade makes the cross over to a basic windsurfer super easy.
It is a board that beginners can learn to get their first windsurf steps on, as well as be enjoyed by more experienced windsurfers who wants to dust off their gear and head out for some easy, light wind, summer fun.

With the center fin, it should be a good board for learning wing handling.

great review. Thanks. I am 5 foot 11" male around 85kgs not very flexible, some aches and pains. used to be good at windsurfing Should I get the 5 metre or 3 metre sail please? what will be best for me. Will only be going out in smooth water conditions nothing too wavy.

Hey Phil for just playing around , we were using the 3m. Its a nice and light and easy to use. So if its just for easy fun I would say go with that , but if you want to have a bit more power look at the 5m. Thanks Reuben

Hi! Good video! I have the hydro-force sup board freesoul tech. Do you also know/have experience with that one?

pretty sure i got the same model, specifically to carry two people for paddle sup, but also for windsurf later. It's big, heavy and the cheesy backback that comes with it is a back breaker. had to create a special beach dolly for it.

Bought the exact same set. Great SUP, learned windsurfing in a few days. Rig is poor (3m2). Fixed boom is too big a limitation.

How many knots you need to get going? Does this make sense in sub-10 knots?

We were using it in about 8-10knts and it worked well for a fun session on the water.

Absolutely. It wouldn't be as good a designated learning to windsurf board but it does do the job really well. Better for adults than lighter weight kids like I say in the video. Thanks Reuben

Good video. Any chance to review Zray windsurfing isup. They have a big range, I believe they are quiet good but no much information about them out there.

Thanks for the suggestion. At a quick look, they seem like a pretty basic board which would get you out on the water. We haven't heard many reviews either which makes it hard to recommend. Thanks for the comment. Beau

@@SUPboardermag I'm not sure what to call it in English, but I mean fast sailing when the board only touch the highest part of the water and jumps on the surface, speed is 20-70 km/h, and this is my question, is that possible on wind-sup?

Hey Domitori thanks for your comment and observation. It does look like it in some of the video shots, but this is because I'm filming it from a SUP which is being blow down wind and also the tide was on the move as well make the some shots look like that. I can promise you this board is really easy to get going up wind. Well spotted though Thanks Reuben

Warning that the 3m sail is too big for the 132cm boom that it ships with. As you can see clearly in the video, the sail is not even taut. Seroiusly, the small boom and sail package do not work together.

I agree this rig was definitely not a performance sail and the boom does touch. But for the light winds and playing around it works ok on the board. Thanks Reuben
