Can you put a fluval protein skimmer in the sump of these aquariums??

They are nice aquariums the only problem with them is a single drain is awful to try and regulate with pump, they constantly change the salanilty and aquarium water level

We'll have to see, if I come across any problems like that I can easily modify the piping

@@coreywillard9250 its not as easy as that, herbie drains always have a 2nd emergency drain but its not just for an emergency its so as a trickle can go over it, i had the same aquarium as you, and i could literally only run the pump at 500lph or it would all go out of wack and end up with all kinds of fluctuations :(

Does the sump come with the aquarium?? Also, where did you get the aquarium and how much was it??

Yes the sump is included and got it cheap off a mate but new can be about 400

What size extension did you use on the pipe in the sump?

Can't quite remember this was about a year ago but I would just change the corner overflow to an internal filter

@@coreywillard9250 hi, indeed the pipe is just to short. I bought a corner piece that is useful and stops the gurgling noise, but is still just a but too short, but your extension looks good - can i ask where you got that from? thx
